Alaska Halibut Fishing: Bang stick strike out 2

Recently spent a day with Discovery Charters, fishing the waters around Kodiak Island Alaska for Halibut. It was October 1st and typically the season runs through September, mostly due to weather, but we caught fish to 109 pounds, after fighting him a second time when the bank stick misfired not once but twice.
