ABOUT LAW & ORDER
Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," now in its 22nd season, is the longest-running primetime live-action series of all time.
This hard-hitting and emotional series from NBC's "Law & Order" brand chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.
As commander of the SVU, Capt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is a seasoned veteran of the unit who has seen it all. She leads with empathy and professionalism, all the while dealing with her difficult past as a product of rape and her responsibility as a trailblazer in survivor advocacy, both of which influence the way she relates to the victims and perpetrators of each case. Olivia Benson is the longest-running female character in a primetime live action television series.

Anybody else thinks she use to treat carisi as a son when he was still a detective 😭😊😁😂😅 or is it just me lmaooo aww🥰
I feel like even though Barba was defending Wheatly, he still had a proud father moment for Carisi. 😄
Hahahahaha
It’s all about chess ♟️ in a courtroom and Carisi raised his game 😂
Well he had ample opportunity to object and purposely chose not to, especially during & after the threat. He was absolutely pulling his punches in favour of Sonny and Liv.
The look on barba’s face, he just like “damn I trained this kid too well”
The apprentice has just trumped the master…😏
For real I was thinking the same 🤣🤣
the student has surpassed the master
I thought his face was saying awe crap I think Liv might have been right about this guy lol.
the student has surpassed the master lmao esp since barba used that same tactic if getting the defendant to get pissed and overshare.
Carisi: I’m sorry, did you just threaten a prosecuting attorney in open court?
Wheatley: uhhhhh would you believe me if I said no?
@jaylamont2870 Carisi: I’m sorry, did you just threaten a prosecuting attorney in open court? Wheatley No I'm just making a statement
Carisi's growth has been so amazing. That smirk when Wheatley threatens him. Pure perfection.
Yeeeesssss!!
I'm worried for carisi. Now that Wheatley is a free man, Wheatley might follow through on his threat.
@@jamesamick3298 Of course. That's something a lot of us are worried about. Since there's no news of Peter Scanavino leaving, hoping that it all works out at the end. But I don't want Wheatley to go out like Lewis did.
Carisi's learned from Barba.
@@MeghmalaMukherjee Hope the cops have a obvious back up plan to deal with Wheatley????
Wheatley knew he messed up when he threatened Carisi 😂
I like it when the criminals mess up but I love it when they sing like a lovestruck canary
Avigail Estrada So did Barba he looked as if he wanted to throw in the towel.
Oh for sure @Avigail Estrada
@@SuperSoldier26 Barba looked as if he wanted to surrender.
Imagine threatening to kill an attorney in front of everyone and STILL getting off. Smh
the look on the jury's face they were like "did he really just say that?"
Oh Carisi keeps getting better and better as an ADA. I’m proud of him
Same here!!! I love him ❤️❤️❤️
@@user-ve5ln5le9y Oh yeah
@SuperSoldier26 I don’t know if it’s just me but his accent seems even thicker in this scene. Love it 🔥💋
@Chatelaine 1928 I know right?
Wheatley will and should be remembered as one of the franchise’s greatest villains.
Dylan McDermott owned the role.
He’s that villain that keep one watching
Sorry but The Joker of SVU will always be William Lewis
@@bfettrules1239honestly that dude was a menace
Oh yeah
i love the part in the show when stabler looked at the piece of garbage judge and asked how much wheatley was paying him
That part was awesome!!! The judge got so offended lol
corruption everywhere. Disgusting.
@@TylerSughrue Thats when he knew it was a pretty good sum.
I feel like that's true
Exactly and that's the same judge several seasons ago that said a daughters rape was consensual that judge should have never been allowed to judge again after that
The moment carisi smiled was the moment Wheatley knew he fouled up 😄
Oh yeah
Carisi smiled like a mobster on that scene😂😂😂😂
Dylan McDermott' s character in this tv show is so impressive. I love him as an actor . There's always something he brings up to the roles he play, he's the kind of villain I fall for everytime . Thanks for sharing
Yeah I wasn’t sure about casting him as the son of an Italian mobster, but man he is absolutely CHEWING up every scene he’s in. Wow.
Exactly! I want Wheatley to be caught, but I sort of don't, because I want to keep watching Dylan!
He needs an Emmy for playing Wheatley to perfection
Liked him since he acted in 'the practice'
Tremendous role for him
I love Wheatley's "Oh Damn" look on his face after he realizes how much he effed up.
The fact that Barba even took Wheatley's side is beyond me..
For real. Especially given how close he was to the SVU department.
Yeah. I'm not here for him
Very weird twist
As a defense attorney it’s not a matter of “taking sides”, Barba was doing his job. Plain and simple. You think John Adams was excited to be defending the British soldiers after the Boston Massacre? Absolutely not, he knew his career as a lawyer was finished after he took that case. But he did it anyway, because everyone accused of a crime has a right to a lawyer to represent them in court before a trial of a jury of their peers.
He did it so he could have a high stakes rematch with carisi, after he got beat the first time.
Lol. Threaten a prosecuting attorney and former detective.
Great episode!
The Wheatley story line was such a great one. He was the huge constant pebble in Stabler's shoe that he couldn't get rid of as hard as he tried. 😆🤣
OMG Carisi’s swag as he laid more and more into Wheatley was amazing!! 😍. But I gasped when Wheatley threatened him 🥺. And yet that ‘gotcha’ smirk was priceless!!! Ugh this scene had me in my feels….I’m nervous….is it just me or does it seem like Carisi is in more danger now than when he was a detective??
I mean he’s been assaulted twice, now this 🥺 I mean with him being with Rollins in secret now agh I’m scared….don’t hurt my sweetheart 😩😢
Hahaha Carisi just pushes his buttons and made him threaten Carisi in open court. Got em!!!!
Boy he screwed up! And carisi made sure to repeat it plain and simple so the jury understood what he did.
And that, ladies and gents, is why you should never seek to testify in your own defense.
Barba knew it was over as soon as Wheatley threatened carisi
I miss Cabot and Novak so much
Me too. 🙂
So do I but they would’ve been crushed in this case

I love the Italian prosecutor. He’s so handsome and such a great actor.
So true on both accounts. ❤️ He’s so attractive and heroic in his new role as ADA
It's a New York accent, not Italian. Nevertheless though, Carisi is amazing as an ADA.
We need some Carisi-centric episodes plsss!!! He’s my favorite!
This was definitely one of them.

Why the FLIP is Barba representing Wheatley!!!???
He said one of the reasons was because he wanted to protect Olivia
@@TBg86 Lol like if he wanted to protect her ⏯️▶️ he wouldn't have taken the case to hurt her even more like she was at the end
Benson felt betrayed the moment Barba 💔 took the Wheatley case. Wheatley put a hit on Elliott and killed Kathy instead then tried to put a hit on Benson. Now that he has been acquitted he will put a hit on Carisi or kill Rollins and/or kidnap their kids. Barba admitted his feelings towards Benson in the series finale, and Benson is not having it. TO BE CONTINUED......
there were no admitted feelings.
My God...Wheatley is losing it.
As long as you say Withdrawn, you can break any court rules!
carisis advantage is that he was a cop barba never was.
Yeah barba's just a fool like how can you take Wheatley's side after being prosecuted for so long like he's just portrayed everything he stood for like most if the people who come back to svu once a traitor always a traitor.
Wheatley...Wheatley is hilarious..They gotta stop this guy. The new episode was crazy he literally played the cops. In a tech world Wheatley is a beast.
It was a long shot to convicting Wheatley, but Carisi came pretty damn close to nailing him
I like to play this over, and over and over. He loses his sh*t.
He sure shut up fast buyah
Along the lines of Steve Miller's "Fly Like An Eagle": "Wheat-ley is slip-ping ..."
Let me add on: “In-to the pri-son”
@@michaelvichiola6310Lol!
Nice video
carisi smiles AHHH HE SO FINEEEE
That smile tho
I love this music
The whole courtroom had a collective facepalm when Wheatley swerved off course.
Rollins is so lucky to have him as a boyfriend. 💕❤️
How about Angela Wheatley faking her disability 😃
I was like, WHAT? 😳
Yeah, I don’t know what that’s about
Right I was so mad at her just when I started to feel bad for her a** I yelled the B word so loud I couldn't even believe it now I'm starting to take everything that Wheatley said about her seriously after that like for me if Wheatley said she did something she did it.
Oh damn. Oh damn. OH DAMN!
Carisi: When you left, I was but a learnah. Now I am the mastah
Barba: Only a master for the DA's office, Carisi.
Everybody's furious with Barba for taking the case. I'm delighted, I feel this was too good of an excuse for the writers to have him back and just instantly make the episode more compelling, they couldn't very well have just any lawyer in that position and I think they simply don't care that it feels out of character. I mean, he has never been motivated by greed, maybe glory, but he would still see a mile through Wheatley being a monster. If his best reason for getting involved is 'the police are framing him because they can't prove he did it and that is wrong' it's really nothing more than a bit of a fabricated reason to create conflict with Benson, have him back in court opposite Carisi
The jury was must-have been threatened by proxy to deadlock in this episode.
McDermott is now well known on CBS' FBI: Most Wanted!
Epic I love it 🥰
Barba vs Carisi ... here for it
And thats Check and Checkmate !!!
"Okay you're going on my hit list Carisi"
Oh please no 😩😩😟🙏💔
Barba looked as if he wanted to the throw in the towel.
Too bad Wheatley didn’t fire him like he did the others
You know the prosecutor's good at what they do when they get the ones on the stand to blow a fuse
I love Carisi. From his first moment. Fantastic actor. He rivals Mariska for me.
What you mean rival her there on the same team for the prosecution? why would he be her rival?
Not in the literal sense. I think they meant stature of his image and the character as symbolic of the series.
@@alexandraanderson3988 in talent and how much I admire both of them. They just pull you right into their scenes.
@@jworth7203 Oh Ok when you said rival her. I thought you were putting Peter's character carisi against Mariska's character. I love Olivia but adore carisi and Olivia too. So I like both of them too I guess. 😃
Ok but where is Cabot?
On another channel is DC heroes show.
Carisi is such a beautiful man
FACT ☝🏻☝🏻🔥
Good job carisi
“Objection”
“Not today”
And yet he still manages to get away with everything
Wheatley must’ve shown his true colors after that entire cross examination
Sorry, Barba. You never should have left. Carisi is better than you.
No, he's not. The only 2 times Carisi "has beaten" Barba were just because Barba's clients lost their temper at court, but that isn't related to Barba's skills as a lawyer.
Actually Carisi didn't even have like a win because he couldn't make the jury to found the accused guilty.
No Carisi is not. Carisi has one of the worst performances as an ADA; he was far better suited as a detective. 'Interrogating' the witness on the stand, being overly emotional explicitly, and prosecuting inflexibly almost unskillfully; these are the most unwanted characters for an ADA in an Open Trial. Carisi may have had noticeable wins but only for the merit of the case instead of his tactics or strategies. In Comparison, ADA Cabot was politically connected; ADA Novak was personally charming and always presenting cases fiercely with superior tactics and exceptional observations (e.g. season 5 citing birthstone); ADA Barba was also a remarkable tactician (e.g. Season 14 Line "Where's the Buckle?") with a very strong personality and interactions. Carisi has none of these flavours; his merit as a detective was much cleverer.
Give Carisi some time…
Sorry, although I love Carisi, he's no better than Barba. He couldn't win both times they faced each other, even though Barba's clients were visibly guilty. The first Barba should not win because otherwise it would be legitimizing "justice in their own hands", and even then it was not even considered a victory. And now, even with the guy threatening him, he didn't get the conviction. So no, Carisi is still no better than Barba. And neither could. Barba worked as a lawyer for 21 years. Carisi has a lot of ground to come.
Lol
It pained me completely when the jury found him not guilty
Reminds me of the court house scene in The Firm.
SHARK moment there
Where is the next episode of this? I thought it would be a to be continued
