Kpro, CRV mount post, and a couple sensors swapped from the old K20. We did a ton more like upgrading to the 36mm axles, but the bare minimum is listed above.

@@pepperinyoureye yea bro I know that feeling. I was doing a Timing Chain on a 07 Ford F550 Turbo Diesel and I was going to cry after a realize what I was getting my self into.Took me 4 1/2 Days to get it running. But us kinda like a Honda Kseries Timing chain job but parts are bigger and heavier.
I know bro! Nick is going to get it tuned and do a test n tune soon. Then we will take it to pikes peak for gridlife! I'll make sure to film that stuff!
Nice. Giving the EP3 the engine it deserves.
I did a k20z1 swap on my ep3 in 1 whole day by myself in my driveway with switching components. Swap went successful 👌🏽🔥
Thank you for making some EP3 content! We need more!!!!
Working on it! if nick stops buying new projects maybe we can race it.
Awesome video 💯💯
It took forever to bleed the coolant system because the front was on jack stands and the radiator's neck was no longer the highest point
I got one of these with a k20a2/6mt
fun daily. K24 seems like a good next upgrade
I wouldn’t swap if I had the K20a2, that’s already a solid engine, this is the us model si with the k20a3
Crazy good weekend, can't wait to get this thing rippin' around the track 🏁
160 hp k20a3 - but yes still not good for a track car. Nice work!
Yes, it rips real good on track now!
@DZ Media this is sweeeeet! I'm doing the same thing right now for an RSX, were you able to run the 50 degree VTC OK on the stock ECU?
ECU we used is Kpro, and we got it running using the TSX basemap. The 50 deg VTC is pinned to 40 degrees using a TracTuff limiter pin.
K24 a2 a3?
JDM K24A doesn't have the same designation as the USDM motors, but it's the equivalent of a K24A2 from the TSX.
Tank you ☺
What throttle body did you use with the Swap?
Stock EP3 throttle body and TSX manifold.
What parts you need to go from k20 to k24 on EP3?
a k24

We made a track video with the ep3. Currently waiting on parts for it!
Hey you installed the valve tube seal on backwards.
haha good catch. Nick went ahead and fixed that. thank you.
What header did u use??
It's a DC race header from a RSX. Fits great, but had to swap the front sway bar to the CRV bar.
What transmission?
Y2M3 from a DC5-R
@@pepperinyoureye thanks
You did a k20a3 swap on a weekend?? Only takes about 4hrs to do engine and transmission.
K24 with new oil pump, all new accessories, cam timing gear. Then we did a 5 lug swap and some other bushings. So no. Not just a k20 swap

Which Transmission and clutch did you use
Y2M3 from a JDM DC5-R for trans. Clutch is a Comp stage 2 with 11lb flywheel.
What about harness I need a good one for my swap almost done 👍
@@Jr-ef9ny stock EP3 harness. Just had to swap a couple sensors from the old motor.

What K24 engine was this you guys used? K24a1? 4?
JDM K24A equivalent to K24A2
Same ecu

What transmission did you use, does the stock EP3 transmission fit?
@@mazdafy1428transmission is a JDM DC5-R transmission. Code is Y2M3.
About to do my own K24A swap into my EP3, why did you use the RBC cam gear? I haven't seen anyone have to do that in my research
There are a million videos out there about it. It helps with mid range power.
How did you know that that the coolant system was completely blood
we bled it until their were no more bubbles coming out. it took over an hour. I think if you can get access to vacuum system, it would be worth it.
I know you!
