I love the little noises he makes, and I'm pretty sure I heard him say "Hi" clear as a bell, lol.
This was an absolute delight to watch! Seeing what interested Kemosabe and imagining his future activities stemming from the favorite objects is a great opportunity for silly daydreams with my daughter. Thanks for giving him a full life. We watched it on Thanksgiving and it had us in the right spirit!

Earlier this year I watched the video of Kemosabe in his tree fort, and I was obsessed with the little noises he makes! A couple weeks later, in early March, I adopted a hedgehog and decided to name him after your tree porcupine. Now we have our own little Kemosabe.

I love Kemosabe I love the little noises he makes. It sounds as if he can talk. Does Kizmett make noises? I've never heard her do so in the vids.
Kizmit doesn't do the grumble and mumble like new world porcupines do. She's pretty straight forward whey her communications, quiet when she's happy and huffy/rattle/stomp when she's upset.
@@animalwondersmontana Could you have meant New World porcupines rather than "new wheels" porcupines? I think your computer got away from you when you were writing. Kemosabe is a darling.

For yams I do consider you to soak the Yams and it’s in the water for 24 hours in the fridge and then you take it out and you chop it up

Also, I got a pair of the Kemosabe earrings last year and love them. People are always shocked when I say they are real quills (followed by me reassuring them they were humanly gathered by naturally dropped quills from an animal sanctuary).

Why is his skin underneath the quills yellow? Is it just natural?Also does he have a smell?
He does have a smell. People on scishow talk show with him have mentioned it. I think he is in a video with Tessa Violet where she smells him definitely worth a watch.
idk if it's ever been mentioned on this channel, but on other videos with prehensile-tailed porcupines they've mentioned that the yellow color is due to the wax they produce to keep their quills healthy and smooth
