With how good you are at making 3D printed stuff, I could see you making your own custom battery holder and 9 can refer people to you to purchase those!
It provides a multitude of benefits for whatever your application is. The reduced weight and lifespan were the attractive parts to me. Down hear, lead acid batteries don't last in this heat and humidity
I've had a Braille before, was concerned it couldn't handle >12:1 compression 400+ci so I went back to Optima :-/ I believe I've read reviews that also made me nervous about AG.
The amount of compression an engine makes doesn't mean a huge deal in regards to the type of battery. Cold cranking Amps is what you need to look at when thinking about a battery for you application. My stock battery has 600cca, this ATX20HD has 900
Thank you sir. Hope it isn’t too much to ask, but by any chance do you have a link? I purchased my Antigravity Battery, so I’ve been doing all kinds of searching. Your video lead to my purchase.
@FrankieBoii14 did you use the promo code to save anything? You can use the code on the adapter as well! Linked here-> antigravitybatteries.com/products/accessories/battery/cables-parts/antigravity-charging-harness/
I bought the mounting plate and bracket from Fat house. If you watch my install video, I go over that alittle bit. DM me on IG, I'll send you some links
I just ordered one for my mustang. Sorry for the silly question but are there any negative effects with removing the battery cover/housing? it's exposed to the elements underneath.
Did you use the promo code??? And not really, infact, it probably helps more heat escape and not trap it around the battery. It's not like the area beneath the battery is getting a heavy amount of water and what not thrown up into it either.
@@THEDriverMod_ I got a ATX30-RS bc the ATX20-HD was listed in the Automotive category. Now that I check the manual it says avoid high heat areas. 2006 Highlander
@kstevenk i will say that both the ATX batteries are designed for powersports applications. So when the vehicle is not running, I would leave the battery on a battery tender.
@@THEDriverMod_ Actually website says, "ATX-30 Re-Start battery can also be used in Hi-Performance Automotive and Racing applications" so should be fine using in car, just maybe not under the hood. I was dailying the car but the battery died and stopped holding charge on the first day it got hot this year (bought last Dec). Thanks for ur response btw. Hope yours last longer than mine haha
I'm highly interested in the battery. Saw the reviews about the battery. Heat, and it doesn't last long. I have a g37s that is boosted and makes around 600+ hp. So it does get a little toasty under the hood. It's not a daily, maybe 3x a week, I drive it around town and get on it occasionally. I do like your battery, under 5 lbs. Would you recommend this battery for my vehicle. Thank you.
@Hondacbr600rrish at the end of the day, this is a powersports battery, I was able to get 3 years out of it. I track my car and it did just fine with the heat. Get the HD version, for best results as well as get a Lithium specific battery tender and adapter from them and keep it on the tender when not in use. The discount code TDM10 works for all the products!
Congrats on getting affiliated! This is 100% what I’ll go to when my battery kicks the bucket
It's soo worth. Knowing what I know now, I'd get the slightly bigger one that has the on board Battery Management System. Not gonna sweat 3 pounds lol
@@THEDriverMod_ sweet, I’ll keep that one in mind also
@Yellow Hammer Garage enjoying the 350 so far?

Been thinking hard about one of those

Great news! That battery is awesome. Going to check into that!
They've got a ton of options
Great info on the battery short and helpful I guess I’m your 5001 subscriber 😜
Thanks for the sub! And i appreciate the feedback!

That's a big weight loss on the front of your car with an easy install 😁👍
Exactly! And you save money in the long run tooo!
What are the cables attached to the post on the rear of the battery?
The lithium battery tender quick connect attachment

Could you tell the difference in acceleration on the butt dyno?
I mean not really. Probably more mental than anything. But 25lbs is 25lbs
How do you mount it? What else do I need to get if I decide to get one for my GT350?

Both my Antigravity AND Shorai died within a year. I think the heat under the hood kills. Shorai customer service never picks up their phone too
@@kstevenk which Antigravity battery did you have? And in what car?

Does this battery suitable for Daily use ? Considering the temperature it can reach 108 F
Im down here in Florida. It gets pretty hot down here.
What if I gain a few pounds? 😉
I guess it all evens out
