Not sure if you've figured out what the L-shaped bracket is for yet, but it is for the steering shaft to mount to the Novak motor mounts. If you need it, I can take a picture of mine and send to you. That notch in the motor mount is new. Mine doesn't have it. I admit I haven't seen your other LS videos; I just saw this one. I'm curious how you will handle the wiring harness.
seems novak is a bit of a life saver, once i find a one stop shop for a project im happy, time is precious.
It makes it easier for sure that you can get almost everything at the same place

Yes you are correct about the steering shaft, the notch in the motor mount is for the exhaust headers. Gives them a bit more space

I did it’s for the steering linkage not sure why I didn’t figure it out earlier.
