BIG WET Southern Tour of Laos.. This Place Stays a SECRET
After leaving the markets in Thapangthong we go in search of the waterfalls they told us of. Thing is, we never found the waterfalls, but found something even more surprising. That surprising, I don't want it being destroyed by tourism. Some places just need to be left alone.. this is one of them

How do you always have fuel on these back roads?
There's a shit ton of servo's (gas stations for you 😉) mate. Never ever had a problem finding fuel.. and never had a problem with bad fuel.
You do know if we run out or get dodgey fuel now I'm blaming you! 😆
@@NowinLao Wish I had a truck there but we are only there a few weeks each year. Maybe more now that our house is about done. But I have my Queensland Heelers here in the states and they hate when we are gone. What can I say . Like having kids again.

Todd, your photography is second to none, you manage to capture the essence of that area beautifully. There are very few areas of the world left untouched through time but this is clearly one of them and deserves to be kept that way, although, I guess the dam is quite a modern addition which the locals have learned to live with. you know I've had a thought as many you tube videos that I've seen I've never seen any pinatas they are just made out out of paper mache I bet that if you exposed Riele to them she could easily learn how to make them, Lots of you tube videos on how to make them, I think that girl is really smart and could pick up on it really quickly. It's just like the old adage give a person a fish and feed them for a night or teach the how to fish and feed them for a lifetime. Just a thought.
Over loaded trucks, speeding, down, hilly, winding roads, probably all hopped up on Yabba? Sad sight for such pristine country...
Our road behavior by motorists is same here.The roads are not marked and areas that are marked drivers drive very dangerous.they put a bus on the center line full lights hazard and speed of 100kph in fog.dangerous overtaking.others have loose loads.we have stretches known as black spot.

Also design of our roads is bad they built them don't paint bumps if you overspeed you don't see it hit loose control.Also fatigue drivers chew khat / miraa a drug to keep them awake.its also exported to Yemen and somalia.
