- This is a tutorial that is going to change your polymer clay game! Embedding posts is important if you sell your polymer clay earrings, and/or if you want to make sure that your posts will stay on forever. Most of the glues, in fact, weaken over time, due to the flexibility of polymer clay.
There are several ways to embed posts. This method is efficient, cheap, and neat.

What do you mean by proper PPE?
When I clean with acetone, the clay turns
white.

Ugh I’d rather just stick to glueing. Just knowing that I have destroyed and dug a hole into my piece and then filled it up, would bother me
This looks like a very tedious and time consuming way to embed posts even once you get the hang of. I’m sure you’ve done it a bunch and hang of it but still takes a while with many chances to ruin your piece. I would hate to dig a hole in the back of my earrings compact clay structure to fill it with liquid clay.. It’s like filling a pothole the evidence is always there & it’s never as compact as original laying
