This is super cute! I don't think people realize these kind of projects take skills and attention to detail. I am amazed you were able to handle the hot glue so well!
Cute way to turn something we normally would trash, into something useful... can even use scraps of fabric since lids are small! Thanks for sharing this idea!😊
Cute and clever idea. People have commented that it looks a little complicated but I imagine if you planned to make a lot of them you could measure and cut the parts ahead of time and put together assembly-line style.
@@texiebelle6910 depends on where you live and where you buy the zippers from. While I am American I live in Scotland and I order my zippers online from Europe where I pay approximately 50 cents to 75 cents each for zippers depending on their length. More if I want the cute dangly zip pull. In the US, yeah, I agree with you, I could never find them as cheap as I do over here. Also many will buy in bulk on places like eBay and Amazon so they get them much cheaper than buying individually in a store that has to pay rent, utilities, staff wages, etc. so it can be done but as I say it depends where you are located for actual pricing. I thought it was a cute idea and immediately thought of new mothers using it for the baby’s pacifier so it isn’t collecting purse junk all over it, and it is easy to put away to keep clean when the baby is finished with it. To hold jewellery, or ear buds so they don’t get lost. I am not sure I would use it for coins as I am too clutch and would end up opening it too far when unzipping and spill it everywhere lol. But there are so many possibilities with it. I could see them selling well at craft fairs too and unless you told them I doubt most folks would guess that they are jar lids that were used. I may give a few a try for my craft stall. And it is so great that the themes can easily be changed as the small print fabrics are so abundant these days. I wasn’t so sure about using the hot glue as it is not usually robust enough for regular use or if in a cold climate. But I love that it is an easy make and uses up things we would normally throw away. I agree it looks easy enough but think I would use a different and more robust glue.
Cute. Why hate people? It's a craft. I know if it wasn't for painting or coloring I would never stop thinking about crappie things and my pain. Cute video
I loved this project. I thank you for sharing your ideas. So cute and very useful. To all of you with extra comments. Well possibilities are endless right. Use your imagination. And be kind with your words 😉
OMG! This is adorable!! You could even add a little more padding to one side with some crushed walnut shells between them and use it for a pin cushion. Put some extra pins inside and you could carry it with you to do hand sewing while traveling. I absolutely love it…❤😊
Oh, my gosh!!!! What an unexpected WONDERFUL idea!!!!!!! I had no Idea where you were going when I first started watching and was pleasantly surprised!!!!!!! Thank you for the great tutorial!!!!!!
Adorable! If you added a small magnet disk under the material on the one side it could be used to hold just enough pins and a needle for small repairs. Add a really tiny pair a scissors and a card with common thread and it would be a nice emergency sowing kit
I think this is a very creative idea. It is a lot of work so I dont know if you could make a lot of money selling it with the price you need to get. But then again, you said they sell. I guess you know your marketplace. Personally, I would omit the lace and showcase the fabric. I think the beauty of this is that you can use desirable fabric that will be different than store crafted items and will catch people's eye. I am sure this duck fabric is a big seller. Thanks for sharing.
Its really cute and looks easy enough to make but I'd buy it honestly it's very useful. You can put in your earrings, rings, coins, meds etc. you can use it for any purpose and it'll keep your handbag organized.
Wonderfully done tutorial, thank you very much for sharing! This is also a nice idea, and the possibilities are almost endless for uses (always wondering what I could with lids aside from placing them in my recycling bin). CRAFT ON!❤

Looks easy enough for me. But the Lady that says $4 is wrong. That may buy 2 zippers. LOL
I think this was a good tutorial. You can make adjustments according to how you would like to set it up. Possibilities are endless.

So cute to carry in purse for coins, earbuds or meds. You can use for jewelry to take on trips. I am sure there are many uses for this cute carryall!
Une babiole mignonne mais qui ne doit pas être transportée, trop fragile !
So viel Aufwand dafür ? Das ist keine " tolle " Idee ,sondern grenzt an Lächerlichkeit !
Ridícula, é sua falta de educação!!!
I was thinking the same things!!

Haters are going to hate😂
@53suzyq true. Sad though.
@@53suzyq Yes - some people are only driven only by hate - scary but true
They are jealous, because it's not their idea....
Some people are just plain horrible. They have nothing in their lives but envy.
So totally adorable. I’m not surprised you sell them easily. Thank you for the video.
With extra wadding in the top, these would be great to store pins in, and use the padded top as a pin cushion.
Là d'accord !!! Bonne idée 💡
Or put under furniture legs for moving it with ease!
I thought it was going to be a pincushion
Thats what I thought she was going when she did the first lid...but then...EVEN BETTER!
