What do you mean by proper PPE?

Ugh I’d rather just stick to glueing. Just knowing that I have destroyed and dug a hole into my piece and then filled it up, would bother me

This looks like a very tedious and time consuming way to embed posts even once you get the hang of. I’m sure you’ve done it a bunch and hang of it but still takes a while with many chances to ruin your piece. I would hate to dig a hole in the back of my earrings compact clay structure to fill it with liquid clay.. It’s like filling a pothole the evidence is always there & it’s never as compact as original laying

When I clean with acetone, the clay turns white.

I also like to roll my clay thin, pick it up and push it from the back to get the details sometimes

does anyone know if white corn flour is as grainy as yellow or can yellow be substituted for the white for use with cutters? if not, is there something else that is good to use?

When you cut out the petals with your cutter, I had an idea! On the zig zag edge, If you could match the pattern some way (like a jigsaw, then the cutter could also be used to create duo colour ribbons, or a small skinner blend. Sorry can’t figure out a better way to describe it….. 🇦🇺❤️

Please add detail, bake for how long, at what temperature? Is this regular salt? Will sea salt work? Polymer clay, will other types work too?
