    I went to a shop earlier and many of there stuff was made of clay (lovely earrings, really nice bowls) and they were quite overpriced so I bought one thing for myself which I thought my friend would really like, there was another shop nearby with clay, tools etc and I picked them up and now I started making them well thanks to you! Can’t wait to give them to my friends, sure she’ll love it!

    I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. I have been holding off on starting my jewelry-making venture, despite having collected all the necessary materials. As I enter retirement, I want to use my time wisely and find joy and fulfillment through crafting. My goal is to pursue my artistic passions which also include painting, resin art, crocheting and multimedia art styles while also potentially generating some income. However, I am concerned that I may not create items that are appealing to potential buyers.
    Your video has provided me with the encouragement I needed to simply begin. The charming and spontaneous nature of your design demonstrated that you were thoroughly enjoying the process. Therefore, I have decided to adopt a whimsical approach as well. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers for success in my creative endeavors.

    Different polymer clay brands need to be baked at different temperatures, make sure you read the packages. To be on the safe side it's better to go for 5-10 degrees less and keep it in the oven for longer time, it ensures the durability. The brand of polymer clay you use is also important. I don't bother using Sculpey III anymore, way too brittle. Premo is better but not by much. The most durable I even worked with was Kato polyclay but it smells so so bad, I had to stop using it. The second best in durability and flexibility which is also pretty cheap is Cernit. And their metallics are to die for.

    • @ltm28
      @ltm28 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      If you happen to try the Arteza Clay don’t follow their directions .. they have bake at 325 for like 10 to 30 minutes … that’s a nope lol I baked at 175 for around 20 minutes and they were fine but when I read the instructions I was like no way and just tried it anyway .. of course the oven was smoking lol 😂

      Please where can I get the items in Nigeria? @DeeDee80

    • @DeeDee80
      @DeeDee80 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ONYEMOWORUTH I cannot help you much, I live in Europe where Cernit and Fimo are very easy to find. I mainly use Cernit because it's cheaper. Fimo is also very good and can be found easier, just make sure you read the package. It bakes at lower temperatures and it's easy to burn it. Try to search for online shops that deliver these brands.

      She use the widest setting on her pasta machine you could tell because of the rib marks on the sheet of clay, If you want to Prolong the life of your pasta machine never use the thickest settings to condition on go down to two or three. It’s fine to finish up on the thickest setting but all that pressure on the cogwheels inside your machine wit prolonged and repeated passes will break your machine sooner
