I so desperately need more videos of Reku and Ahana, the Rathalos & Gold Rathian pair. It's such an unusual combination - usually Raths from different subspecies won't associate with each other, but they have such great chemistry. I would LOVE to see the momenet that Ahana stumbled into Reku's life and won him over, possibly without even intending to.

Tea, whatching your animation techniques get stronger through these videos is just wonderful to see. The amount of work you've put into these videos, even if they are small, is astronomical. Like, I know how long it takes to render even just three seconds of a camera moving and these are just wonderful. Keep up the phenomenal work into 2024!
It was the ecology videos that first got me into monster hunter: I love that these creatures are all just animals with different behaviors and ecological niches, it makes them feel so much more real. The endemic life and tracking in World helped, but I want it to go harder with heard and social behavior and migration, a living world!
on a technical note: mixing close up shots and above view, wide angle view will make for a better overall featurette for the monster. that being said, this is really sweet and outstanding already! keep it up, I always enjoyed these even back in mhf1

This part in particular was actually based on a idea that, well, it’s just as unlikely that 1 Apex Steve went out of it’s way to specifically harass every single seregios within god knows how much space in order to get the hundreds we see fleeing in such massive groups. I REALLY hope monster hunter wilds will have this type of behavior from the monsters to actually have their ecology and lore played out during gameplay while on expeditions or hunts would add to the immersion! Where they act like real life animals and not just mindless AI generated limited characters, there's more to monster hunter than just hunting these creatures! Threat displays, intimidation tactics, a proper food chain mechanic, a mating season mechanic, various turf war animations based on monster health, stamina, its apex level and rage state! And so much more i would love to see im the next monster hunter game!
The Abyssal Lagiacrus one is my favorite one. So cool! I hope A.Lagi comes back in modern iteration some day. Or even a rerelease of MH3U on current platforms.

I kinda miss having unlockable bosses, like in the old games. sure having to kill every subspecies a certain ammount or such was grindy but.. it just made these monsters feel a littl emore like a secret bonus.
I really loved the part where the two humans were building a garden around the espinas, its so big and well armored it knows thzy aren't a threat nor were they good enough prey

I do like the ecology videos and the portrayal of the Monsters as just.. animals. Large animals that are just doing their thing (an event I missed seeing in Rise), and it's rather interesting that most of the monsters are carnivores and it seems like we're missing large herbivore monsters to balance the ecology out. They don't have to be passive but I mean for how many large carnivores we have we need some bigger prey animals too.

Fun fact: I'm new to the series and I bought MHW to play with my friends. One of them has got 300h in MHW (He is new to the series too, by the way). I farmed Ratha and Rathi a lot, so I knew about their behaviour. Just Imagine my friends face when he said that they were gonna beat the shit out of eachother when we were beating Ratha and Rathi appeared and then I said the only creatures they were gonna beat the shit out were us. I like how the game teaches you new staff every time you fight a monster: their behaviour, their features. It makes you feel like you are a real hunter.
