    Thank you so much for these videos! I struggle a lot with confidently directing people for photos so it's nice to kind of have this to refer to in my head. I love that you start with the different poses but all of them end up personalized because of the action that you direct them in.

    • @itsyreverafter
      @itsyreverafter 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Try increasing your shutter speed. That usually helps capture tack sharp motion pics

    • @garrettmaynrd
      @garrettmaynrd 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bet there are quite a few fuzzy ones in the bunch, and she takes a ton really quickly to make sure she at least gets some sharp ones while the motion is happening. She isn’t going to show the fuzzy ones haha, she’s only gonna show the best! So, just keep that in mind. She only showed maybe 50 photos throughout the video, but probably took at least 1200 during the session. With that ratio, she only needed 1 in every 24 to be sharp. If she delivers 150 images, that means only 3 out of every 24 (or 1 in 8) needs to be sharp. So, it’s not all that crazy if you think about the numbers ✌🏼
      Just some things to think about 🙌🏼

    • @miamano1145
      @miamano1145 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uh oh I was wondering as well! Maybe she is on aperture priority, ISO would be auto and for the shutter speed she has set up a minimum (of which I cant do on my canon.. meh) so it wont go too down resulting in blurry images. Just a guess.

      Re-composing

    • @beccacannonphoto
      @beccacannonphoto  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I have my focus point set to be in the middle. I keep it there and focus on the subject but then move the camera to compose the shot. I do this very quickly for almost every shot I take. The lighting doesn't change much throughout the session so I don't need to change my settings often. I probably changed my settings between prompts a little bit but just cut it out of the video

    Do you use spot metering when doing backlighting?
    I can see you must use super fast shutter speed. Do you prioritise shutter over aperture if needed? I assume you also increase ISO as high as needed depending on lighting situation?
    Are these best prior to sunset?

    Love the way you interact with the people you photograph in all your videos. You have a special gift of putting them at ease. Did anyone teach you that or are you just a natural? Your laugh is cute and it comes out even more when the couples are really being playful. It's adorable to watch and listen. 😍 I think you'll be the next big photographer on TH-cam that everyone looks up to. Keep up the awesome work! I guess the only drawback is you got that ring on your finger... 😭...LOL.
