    Here's another behind the scenes of one of my photo shoots! Yall will LOVE this one because we started out with a more formal session in downtown Nashville. Rachel was wearing a dress and we were very limited on more of the movement oriented style I usually do so you guys can see me take a step back and see how I direct for more of the formal photos. We later on met up with their adorable dog at a park and with the outfit change we were able to get some more of the movement that I love to do on sessions!
    My gear on this session: Nikon d810 with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 + Nikon d750 with a Nikon 50mm f/1.4 Harness: Bearloga Harness

    These are seriously the most helpful videos I've watched for candid photos, thank you so much! I also loved that none of these had props except for a blanket and it really shows you don't need to go all out buying props for a photo shoot for them to look good.

    Question - do your clients mind when you change the color of their clothes? I don’t know how I feel about the dress going from deep blue into teal.. it looks absolutely beautiful in photos, but would make me wonder if it will offend the client or not 🤷‍♀️

    • @CannonWeddings
      @CannonWeddings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I try to catch it in most photos! I have had a few clients want me to adjust the coloring in some pictures so that's definitely my bad for not noticing. But I try to direct my couples in colors to wear to avoid this from happening! Blues and pinks/oranges/reds are often changed with my presets but I try to correct these colors of the couple is wearing those colors

    Have just discovered your channel, so you may have shared this another video I haven’t seen yet, but what kind of exposure considerations are you making for these images? The final shots look great with the overexposed sky. Are you exposing for the highlights and then bringing it all up in post or are you exposing for the couple and ok with losing the highlight detail? I haven’t shot Nikon in a long time so I don’t know how much latitude the 810 has in dynamic range. Great work though. Thanks for sharing!

    • @CannonWeddings
      @CannonWeddings  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i always expose for the couple! I don't care if I lose detail in the background. As long as the couple is exposed correctly I'm happy!
