- It's finally done and I really couldn't be happier with the results. The car sounds much more aggressive with a really nice idle without sacrificing any fuel economy or comfort in the cabin. Though the rear lower valance is becoming more difficult to acquire as its not as readily available anymore, just keep vigilant on the sites and a few come up from time to time. But I'm very happy with how everything turned out and shoutout to everyone who helped on this mod!

Yeah you make a hole to run the wiring through and then it gets covered by the spoiler itself

I've been trying to do a dual exhaust on my Ford for a while now and haven't been able to find the part. Thank you for sharing this video! Can you please tell me what to specifically look for on the Ford website cause I still can't find it for the life of me! Thanks 🙌
So from what I remember theres a way to select general areas of the car to find parts and it expands from there, the terms are 'rear lower valance' and I believe 'bumper extension'

Can’t really give you an accurate quote on that because painting it was the main purpose of the visit, he installed it moreso as a favor

Performance has been the same other than wanting to gun it myself lol I've had no problems with cops or anything myself but not saying it wont happen

I’m trying to do the same with my exhaust but mine only has one exhaust cutout. Could you send a link of where you got your dual cutout from? I drive a 2019 fusion
So the 2019 fusion being new has a subtly different bumper so this piece wont install directly, the rear lower valance on the 2019 doesn't wrap around the whole bumper but that also makes it an easier install. You should be able to find it on fordparts.com

Bro, I was saying the same thing but I went to my ford dealership and they couldn't find it. You'll need 2018 ford fusion sport VIN number. You can go Facebook and find VIN #
Finding the rear lower is kind of a challenge, but the junkyard is your friend
and the conversion makes a world of difference!

i dont really know much about exhuast system. It is probably a dumb question. So you just need to buy exhaust tips and the rear bumper thingy? I mean is that only what you did? I also only have single exhaust. I want to convert it to dual.

yeah, so those are the only pieces you need to buy, you have the bumper piece installed and from there take the car to an exhaust shop to add the extra exhaust pipe.

ONE MORE QUESTION WHY WOUD YOU NEED THE VALANCE TO BEGIN WITH? I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS BTW GOT ME WANTING TO MOD MY FORD FUSION A WHOLE LOT MORE I DO HAVE BLACK RIMS ALREADY!
Oem you only have a valance for 1 small tip so if you cut the muffler you cant hear it too much and the dual exit looks way better just like a 2.0
The rear lower valance is needed to have a route for the exhaust tips to follow, otherwise it’d sag underneath the car. I don’t know if it’ll fit the 2019 because this piece wraps around the entirety of the bumper and to my understanding the 2019 rear lower valance doesn’t wrap around the entire bumper just the center section

I have a Ford Fusion but I only have 1 exhaust pipe in the back what would I have to do to get them like yours ?
So you can use my 2 videos on it as a template, to sum it up you're going to want to get a rear lower valance that has both openings so that you can set up a dual exhaust without having to mess with the body of the car. Install that and then from there you take the car to an exhaust shop and they should give you a few options on what they can do to get a pipe on both sides. Personally I did a muffler delete and got a y pipe to split the exhaust to go to both sides.

I have a Ford Fusion hybrid should I do muffler and resonator delete or just muffler?
It depends on how much noise you want, a muffler delete gives it a nice rumble and ups the volume some, whereas then removing the resonator makes it even louder

I believe theres a seperate sport model for 2019 but im not sure i am aware the rear bumped/valance does change on 2019 and 2020

Isn’t a muffler delete illegal in Texas! I live in Texas as well and I’m sure not having a muffler will for sure get you a ticket if you get pulled over and a cop notices you have no muffler.
No it’s completely legal and not loud enough to get you into any trouble with cops

Not technically. He lives in Texas and according to Texas DPS Exhaust Interpretation, all vehicles must have an exhaust. So idk what he will do once inspection roles around, maybe someone in the comments has more experience with how to pass a vehicle inspection without a muffler
@@samp2616 I have a Toyota Avalon 2005 and I want to make it louder but I live in California and don’t know how to get away with it.
@@Doberbull again I’m no expert but what I’ve looked into is according to my states law you need to have a muffler and a resonator. So in theory, you could get a shop to alter one of them and essentially make it less effective. This way you could pass a visual Inspection. And I guess the other thing is get lucky and hope they don’t fail you because they know your car sound isn’t stock. (Note: laws may be different in your area and I’m not advising you to do this, just explaining how it could be done)
