I always say to my North Indian colleagues to learn Telugu and they do learn some lines to communicate with maids, vendors, milkmen etc.. But they are encouraging their next generation to learn Telugu.. I appreciate that

Well that's Manipal which is in Udupi near Mangalore. Very close to my place and we have around 15000 students from various countries studying. Manipal is a student town.
Well, Allen Institute has 1,50,000+ students all over India, 90,000+ in kota only and that's an official likha book record. That was in the start of 2018, now it should be way more than that.

Absolutely! Just make sure the tour is after midnight and before 5 AM otherwise they will be stuck for hours in traffic trying to get into the city.

Maybe step out of your well and see some big cities around the world and see how they manage traffic? I have lived in Bangalore for 35 years and also traveled the world

I live in Bengaluru and it’s undoubtedly the Silicon Valley of India. It is the capital of Karnataka and one of the most sought after city in south india.

jyotika manral : One cannot blame the traffic. Earlier it wasn’t so. It was called as the Garden city due to its lush green trees and beautiful lakes around. There was an extreme surge in the IT sector in Bengaluru and many people migrated to Bengaluru for jobs. That’s when the traffic issue emerged. So we cannot blame the traffic. Since childhood I have seen Bengaluru grow. It was so green. “Namma Bengaluru namma hirime”. My Bengaluru, my pride.

Bengaluru - the presenter forgot to mention it is also busiest in terms of traffic. As a kid, I remember Bangalore as a very serene place.. sadly my childhood days are gone with lovely memories of Bengaluru
It is not as bad has its portrayed, the traffic is only at peak hours at certain places only

Karnataka truly personifies ' unity in diversity'. Be it the history, geography or the culture. One who comes here will never stop falling in love with the nature, food, culture and people.
You will be amazed to find people of almost all region of India staying in a single city called Bengaluru. Not to forget the amazing landscape and food (both veg and non veg) and beaches of Mangaluru, Udupi. And our own Royal Mysore. Mysore is the one of the cleanest cities apart from being well planned city.
There are many more places which are unique and which makes Karnataka a lovely state to be in. Please do visit Karnataka and all the other states as Rick mentioned. At least one week for one state. Let me tell you it won't be enough to cover the entire real 'Bharata'. 😁

I have been working in rural area Karnataka for the past four years I can say that people here are very cool and friendly. Food is delicious if u want to experience Karnataka please visit rural areas
All the South States are beautiful, all of them would have similar landscapes. Bangalore & Hyderabad are both IT power houses. Bangalore has nice pubs & party places, Hyderabad has more good Restaurants with Spicy food.

I have been to Karnataka thrice. It's an amazing place with friendly people, delicious food and lot of diversity. You find everything there from beaches to mountains, from serene jungles to hustling towns and cities, from ancient temples to some of the best clubs/lounges in India. It's traditional, modern, rooted in culture, catching up with cutting edge technologies.
Karnataka is home to world's 10% of tiger(national animal of India) population..and state with 1000s of elephants (heritage animal of India)..with Kannada as a monther tongue for most of her residents (about 5million+).. around 300km of coastline holding strategic location for country's oil reserves.. Silicon valley of India hosting most of the giant MNCs of the world(mostly due to brains and optimum weather conditions across year).. falling within tropics, attracting almost all citizens of India and foreign nationals coming in search of job or investment etc.. Western ghats is breathtaking, waterfall are plenty (don't miss shivana samudra too), people are known for kind hospitality and generosity! Welcome you guys along with your family if possible, again to India.!
