Skyshards author here, and I just have to say your in-depth research on the topics (not just for my mod, but others as well) is impressive and the level of detail and quality, not just of the game but your video as well, is exceptional! Keep up the incredible work!

I personally think lorkin's realm is one of the most immersive mods . Some people would call it a cheat mod , to that I would say b******* . Unless you're starting out Skyrim as a newborn baby then you shouldn't be starting out as a helpless level one character who has never swung a sword or cast a magic spell in their life . Lorkin's realm let you decide how well-equipped or how knowledgeable you are before you even enter the game .
Not to mention, if you are modding, you'll likely be well beyond your second playthrough. Takes away the tedium of the pup stage lol. I personally use the actual cheat room. Every 5 levels I give myself an extra 100 hp magicka and stamina. With some of the mods out there you can still get stomped even with a ton of health
@@indrickboreale7381 This! I pair it with Character Creation Overhaul to assign them a class (or custom class) + points in Magicka/Stamina/Health + an unchangeable standing stone (as if it was their zodiac sign). It makes more believable characters.

Yeah, how can people even think that step-and-swing or dodging, let alone stamina management could ever exist in any game outside the souls franchise. So stupid.
@@enragedbard Both is gangsta till they find out that CGO is incompatible with every other mod that turns Skyrims combat into a completely different system
Incredible Job, putting the mod list together and presenting the mods with their lore. Knowing how these mods fit into Skyrim makes want to add them into my mod load order even more! Keep up the good work
I wish 4thUnknown put a bit more into the ‘secondary’ aspects of their creature mods. The models are way more detailed than Mihail’s but Mihail always goes the extra mile with the secondary stuff past the model (unique sounds, world placement, variants, alchemy ingredients, etc)
Ah yes, Pyrite, my favorite Daedric Prince. An isometric iron sulfide of the formula FeS2, Pyrite's sphere is actually a cube, frequently luring geologically illiterate prospectors into believing they have found treasure. Look past his guise and you will be blessed with knowledge of the earth. His statuettes are naturally occurring in many hydrothermal and diagenetic deposits, and are frequently held in high regard by both the casual rock collector and seasoned geologist
The Nord ancestors came to skyrim in the Merethic Era or Dawn Era. For the Dragon Wars took in Merethic Era and Nords were pretty much established by then and Falmer were myths by then
This video definitely earned my subscription! Very high quality. While I found some pronunciations different than my own, and a bit jarring at times, that's minor nitpicking. I wish I had found your channel sooner. This video has been added to my Favourites and will be reviewed once I get a better PC, because a good number of them look incredible! Any idea if Daedric Shrines and the Wintersun mod by Enaision are compatible?
The atmorans didn’t start migrating to Skyrim in the third era, it was during the merethic era and first eras. The third era was the era of the septim emperors.
Hey i found a small mod that adds morrowind style towers to the outside of dwemer ruins on solstheim. (Dont think i spelled that right) and there the Skaal Village Overhaul witch visually transforms skaal village to look more akin to its morrowind counterpart. If you'd like to know about a fiew more lore friendly mods ive come across you can message me on here.
You can't do the Snow Elf mod and not the Dwemer mod as well. By the same mod author, you can play as a Time Lost Dwemer, or Deep Elf, becoming a master of Dwarven Technology and be able to create and command a slew of Dwarven automatons ranging from basic Dwarven Spiders all the way to Colossus and even Dragon automatons. As well as being a master of time manipulation, sacrificing health to slow or even freeze time around you in combat.
Doctor Nostalgia what mods do you use for a modded playthrough . asking cause i am thinking of getting the Anniversary Upgrade for skyrim so to install all the mods in your video plus have a full modded game do not know if i should use the nexus mods COLLECTIONS or wabbajack modpack do know which one is good to use or better ?
I mean, the Skyshard mod would be lore friendly if the Dragonborn wasn’t able to use them. The Vestige in ESO is only able to absorb their energy because the Vestige is missing the Anuic aspect of their soul. The Snow Elf mod isn’t lore-friendly either. These mods are cool, but the premise of the video is false.
Your presentation is really good, annoyingly you keep mispronouncing words and saying things weirdly. This is not a dig just feedback. Hi Doctor Nostalgia, thank you for covering and featuring my Ancient Falmer mod in your video!
And thank you for playing! :D
Thanks for the incredible mod, keep up the good work!
Lore-friendly>>>>> souls-like modding
Agreed, so tired of all the mods meant to be just be a souls remaster
Souls modding is so cringe dude

Apparently the creator of the Snow Elf race also made a mod that adds playable Dwemer.
Also those creature mods look so good!!!
The production quality in these videos is amazing...thanks for sharing and keep it up!
That was a very nice summary of the snow elves.
Gotta work on the pronounciation of those daedric princes though ;)

Just wanna give a shout out to Armors of the Velothi part 1 and 2. Very awesome and immersive if you play a Dunmeri character
Your videos are top quality they must take alots of effort to make
Love the video. Love the mod choices. One thing I’d say is that it’s pronounced FALLmer, but otherwise great job.

What is the character preset you are using for the snow elf mod ?? And also great video !
