@@eduardo9a1Which sucks no pun intended. I think PS4 and 5 has like a Vampire Battle Royale but xbox literally just has Vampyr. I recently started watching WWDITS and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I only had Skyrim to scratch my itch.
I agree on a part 2 very good list and well put together. I've been gearing up to play Skyrim again as I haven't touched it in forever and seeing that Brehanin is still around and making awesome mods like this makes me want to start up a Vampire character again! Also as others have stated a few videos for werewolf player would also be very much appreciated!
I personally like using a combination of a lighter Vampire overhaul coupled with some magic mods to fill in the gaps. Currently I'm using Sacrilege (basically Sacrosanct lite with a few differences) coupled with Darenii's Abyss, Bloodmoon and Flames of Coldharbour. Dark Envoy is another pretty neat mod that adds vampire and Vampire Lord exclusive spells, like opening the gates of Coldharbour for a Dremora invasion.
@@A.F.-. I'm on PC, but regardless, the order is Race/Perk overhauls if you use any, then Sacrilege, then Dark Envoy if you use it and finally the Magic mods. I don't think putting Dark Envoy before the rest of the magic mods truly matters, but that's how I have it on my load order. Also, if you're gonna use Darenii's mods, consider using Mysticism as a base for your Magic mods. They play really well together and Mysticism also has some really neat spells for a vampire playthrough, like Magicka Drain and Stamina Drain!

Amazing video man, i didn't knew the better vampires and better vampire lord overhaul. I was using scion, it was cool and all but after watching this video, i'm gonna switch to better vampires + lord overhaul undoubtly. Great to see you back!
Some time ago I built a mod list that gave restoration a much needed bump with damaging spells and also making it possible to encounter vampire lords as enemies within skyrim....soo much fun!

Yes please another vid! Your video details and way that you exploit each mod is amazing, part 2 would be awesome. Also a werewolf vid please, i can only imagine what you'll find
I would love to see another vampire video. Recommended The Wizard Warrior - Spellsword Magic Combat Evolved for adding more abilities. Obliterater because light armor becomes a bear hand perk tree and illusion because better. And predator vision because it does the same ish as better vampire for the other vampire overhaul.
best vampire mods are the eye's the claws good vampire lord wings and vampire lord flight and vampire bat flight. a mod i also love is that non hostile npc's dont become hostile when you turn vampire lord,it only makes sense to me that they dont just attack you when you change because they know you.
I think a super underrated mod is sacrilege. It’s the v+ version of sacrosanct but it’s still a step up from scion. I’d be interested in a video series where you do an in depth review of each of the vampire overhauls, or one video comparing them
But you can't transform others into vampires with sacrilege which is the reason I don't use that since being able to sire others into vampires is significant for my vampire role play. You can't do a lot of things with sacrilege that you can with sacrosanct such as becoming a day walker, instantly befriending with a sleeping npc that you have fed upon, gaining a teleportation power that you can use to bypass obstacles and so on.
Definitely late to the party, and its the first time me seeing any of your videos but I just wanted to say how impressed I am! I've been looking for this quality of mod review videos and i am very glad I found you!

TLDR: Good video, but Vanilla slim Vampire Lord with thin wings is sick, Better Vampires mod is subjective, vanilla vampire playstyle can be super fun if done right and with some small mods. As a frequent Vampire player, playing as one for about 5 years, I have a few thoughts on this video. Firstly, it's a good video and I like the little miscellaneous mods that give different eyes and claws. But the other mods are very subjective. I and lots of others love the regular Vampire Lord form. It's my favourite vampire form in all media. It's a mixture of graceful and unnerving as well as badass. I much prefer the thin wings over regular bat wings because I feel they not only complement the overall aesthetic of the form, but give it a more unique flavour, which adds to its unnatural vibe - regular large bat wings are just too common in my opinion. The thin wings are also an homage to Marcus from Underworld. I love gliding with them across the map so much (thanks in large part to the sound effects and animation) that I barely ever fast travel and I'm glad they weren't given the ability to fly, because I would miss out on all the fun from terrorizing Skyrim's travellers at night. The wings are also used in the bite animation, which I think is really cool. Vampire Lords in Skyrim have a somewhat regal appearance, which I think is great. I much prefer the slender appearance over more muscular versions - there's a sinister caster vibe to it. Also putting firey daedric runes that are more associated with Mehrunes Dagon doesn't really make much sense to me lorewise. Vampires in traditional media even are meant to give more undead vibes than demonic. Also not a fan of the Lord skin retexture, preferring the vanilla aesthetic (e.g. IconicDeath's version). After playing this game for years, I love the Dawnguard Vampire gameplay and refuse to make any major changes to the vampire playstyle with mods. From the spell animations to the satisfying sound effects, I prefer to keep things as they are than change them with something like Sacrosanct or Better Vampires (I have tried). Sometimes less is more and I feel that's the case here. I strongly dislike how BV reworks feeding and changes the screen animation. One of my favourite things to do in Skyrim is repeatedly feeding on sleeping victims at night. It really epitomises the vampire fantasy. I love the animation and sound effects for it and spamming it multiple times without consequence is satisfyingly fun. Role-play wise, I take it as my vampire taking small sips and savouring each one like a delicious dessert over some time, so it doesn't count as overfeeding and harmful to the victim. When I tried Better Vampires, it changed it so that feeding on the same victim twice within 24 hours kills them, which to me is not only annoying, but immersion breaking and less 'realistic' because 2 small, 3-second sips isn't meant to kill a person. BV also removed the pink glow from the screen during the bite animation and added an extra 'drinking' sound effect which I wasn't the biggest fan of. Any feeding changes to Vampires are a deal breaker for me. I love little details like that and BV made other annoying changes. I found myself turning off most other features in the mod because they felt redundant, so eventually just removed it. I like spicing up the gameplay with little things instead like a stronger Vampiric Drain Spell, Queen of the Damned - Deadlier Serana and Vampire Lord Serana. For player homes, Castle Volkihar Redux. As well as non-Vampire mods that complement a vampire playstyle e.g. Illusion spells like Enslave the Weak from the Apocalypse spell mod, the Heart Breaker animation mod (rip out victims' hearts) and a mod that adds a 'Forget' all bounties spell like 'Forget', allowing me to "compel my victims to forget the atrocities I committed as a vampire and walk away in emergencies" as vampires can do in media. Anything centrered around stealth and domination makes playing a vampire fun in Skyrim in my opinion. Not to rag on the video or mods but just wanted to express that whether they make it more fun is highly subjective and the vanilla playstyle can be really fun too.
