We need a mod with general changes for many things like a pack of mods in one I had ruined my game so many times each time ir was a pain in ass to re install the game
Your channel is the best mod showcase channel, mad props. As someone who takes frequent breaks from Skyrim, and has to rebuild massive mod lists after years away, I miss out on a ton of mod releases. I have been going through a ton of your videos, and so many of these mods are specifically what I've been looking for, and couldnt find. Also, so many I would never have thought of. Thanks so much!
@@theantil7 It's just different than the screaming clowns you usually hear on youtube. Straight forward, professional. It reminds me of a narrator for a film instead of a dancing clown trying desperately to get subscribers. Breath of fresh air. He should do voice overs professionally.
Amazing production values on this video! Impressive. As requested, the must-have mods in my channel's videos that you mentioned are the two animation mods (along with quite a few others involving fighting, jumping, running, and walking) and Compass Navigation Overhaul, which essentially removes the necessity of having to look at the journal or the map ever again. It was a game-changer for me when I started using it (pun intended).
I was away from Skyrim and its mods for about 5 years and was amazed at the awesome new mods that are available. Thank you for putting this list together to showcase how some of the new mods work!
Those are top quality mods showcased. No one back when Skyrim came out would think this was going to be implemented. I subscribed, liked and hit the bell because even though my Skyrim is modded to the point it’s nothing like the base game these are mods I haven’t heard about yet.
Just to add to this list, a mod ive come to like is Yggdrasil music and soundfx overhaul, the music alone makes the game feel entirely different and i love it
Yo, read the room is something I think really would be fun. I regularly avoid helmets because I like ti actually see my character (also, argonians shouldn’t spontaneously become liquid when wearing stuff). This would make this much better. The compass likewise would be wonderful cause I often have to turn off some of the markers just to figure out where I’m going.
I honestly don’t see the point in having more then one quest being marked. Just do one and then the other. I’m not saying this mod is bad (in fact it sounds really nice) but it seems easy to focus on just one quest. Read the room is cool af but my current character I’m already playing without a helmet at all. I have ordinator so theirs a perk where when I’m not wearing an armor helmet it boost all my other armor pieces. So that doesn’t mean much to me with my current character. But it’s still cool af.
I'm sure you get asked this a lot - do you have a live list of mods you are running? Your game looks incredible! Also, subbed and liked. Keep up the excellent work!
Id Like to second this, your whole game looks great, I am particularly interested in the movement and combat ones you have active. Looks like it would make third person unanimously viable which is cool
The gesture mod requires Dynamic Animation Replacer, which no longer works for the newer versions of the game and will not be updated by the mod author at this time
Yup my recomendatio is to play in 1.6.353 if you want to play the aniversary edition or 1.5.97 for only the special edition. Why 1.6.353? because some mods would not work and still require updating post this version
Hate to be "this guy" but if you want to use DAR downgrading your SKSE to 1.5.97 is necessary. I wasn't looking forward to doing so but am glad I did as DAR is running perfectly along with the other mods that require it and USSEP is not a problem even with the author not providing older versions. This means I can also use MCO ADXP for better combat. Using the Best of both downgrade patcher seems the best way to go.
I’d also have to recommend downgrading if it’s a viable option for you, not only so you can use mods like DAR today but also to future-proof your Skyrim against future updates that may break even more mods
@@DoctorNostalgiaMods It's not something I have an interest in getting tangled up in, but I know it's worked well for a lot of people. It's just beyond that line between fun and overly taxing for me, personally. Just figured I'd mention, as many new modders start with videos like these and it wasn't mentioned in the video that they'd have to do a bunch of downgrading and alterations to their game to get a simple animation mod working 😁
I've been using the compass mod for a few weeks and played a bit of vanilla on console today and all that menu navigating to know where to go was downright infuriating. One of, if not THE most vital QoL mod to me now.
I skipped the sponsored segment, but enjoyed the video so much I went back to watch it as a way of tribute! I love the showcases choice of pacing, its slow yet thick with information.
Now i've got something to return to Skyrim for. Thanks man! Perhaps would You mind to share a link for a video about what graphic and armor mods are You using?
My newest must have is the thanedom series. Adds small hamlet's/villages rules by thanes. I think it adds some more reason to wanna be thane because you can run on in the hearthfire dawnstar house
You sold me not only on the mods but also your channel man. Currently doing a base run through of AE on console since I want the achievements, but once I go back to PC I am getting these!
All of these mods are so good. Particularly the compass one, wow, such a needed feature! Hope they all get integrated into mod packs ASAP Also, subbed. You deserve way more subs, the editing quality of this video was fantastic and it was great to watch!
Advice on DAR/long comment ahead! I started modding Skyrim this year on my shitty laptop and I just happened to do it at the right time, before all the updates that came out and ruined a lot of mods. I bought special edition but since I bought it this year the mod compatibility basically makes it AE. I got DAR, mco adxp, dmco, basically everything I wanted to work (after a lot of google searches) on what is essentially Skyrim 1.6.353. This is definitely the version I recommend for now and you can easily find a download for it online (I found a link on Reddit and copied it to a document). My opinion is that this is definitely the most supported version of Skyrim, as you can get any mod you want to work on it even if is outdated (to some extent, albeit it is pretty lenient) and a lot of ground breaking mods were coming out for this version right before the updates. However, that said I’m not sure which version will be the best in the future. That depends on what the modders want to support/what versions works best for them.

That's actually fun game play when you have to run for your life, when you get away that is. I had to jump from a bridge into a river. They got separated, and some turned around.
