This is a happier, healthier looking and acting Shock G. He sent me this skit he made about grits. Then he was texting me asking me how many grits I wanted. Lol...
I might not be the only one he sent this grit video to, but I think it should be released so I did it!!
I encourage anybody who has any footage of him to release it so we keep his memory and legacy alive. 💯
This video is just him being him.
He’s got an amazing spirit and great personality.
I’m posting this so his fans and admirers get to see a different side of him, he was a private genius.
My memories of him for the most part were the best.
He had a very playful side. We were dating each other in the early 90’s. Last time I saw him was 2002.

Am I missing something? I see so many people saying he was happy and living his life. Even before he passed, I looked at his videos as a cry for help. It seems obvious to me that something was wrong . Unfortunately this resembled mental Health issues. I think we miss it sometimes when people are trying to be so deep. Had people around him really paid attention he may have been able to get the help he needed.

My heart hurts for his family...I wish he had a place to disrobe and cry, be healed, and do what he enjoyed doing...traveling, meeting people, and playing the piano. I heard he loved nature and animals and recently saw an interview with Chopmaster J where he said Shock G didn't really want to be famous however Chopmaster J did. It was torment for Gregory Jacobs...

Thanks 4 sharing this video. I met him after a concert in Cincinnati. Surprisingly I saw him in the parking lot with a few girls I knew who were going to give him a ride to the after party. The girls car was 2 small so he ended up riding with me and my friend. He VIP'd us at the party and we hungout partying and talking about music, life and childhood memories. It was like we were Highschool friends or something. Amazing Brutha!!! 🤘🏾

Amanda- Thank you so much for posting these videos. I’m a 44-year-old man who discovered Shock’s musical artistry as a middle school kid 30 years ago. To say that he’s had a profound effect on my life would be an understatement. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I live in the Tampa area and I’ll be at his service tomorrow.

I wish I could be there, but his spirit has been around me since he passed. I don’t know if you heard the story that I posted. I was getting ready to go to the gym and I picked out a pair of socks I put one on the couch And I put the other one on and when I turned around to get the other sock there was an extra sock there. The extra sock was army green. When my people / friends pass to the other side I say they’re in my angel army. So that was kind of cool that Shock left that army green sock now he’s in my angel army. 🙏🏻😇🥰

He got married in 1994 , I went to his wedding reception and it was on a Yacht in San Francisco, I was 18 and he invited my brother that was on Son of the P album and me and another friend went I have pictures to prove it lol. I remember seeing Raphael Sadiq (tony Toni tone) I remember seeing Tupac and it was so many people and cameras around him and today this day I still have the pictures of me and Shock G in his tuxedo so handsome, I met his wife but I didn’t take a picture of her .
