- Money B joined VladTV to talk about recording "I Get Around" with 2Pac and his ascension to stardom. "I was like, 'I just killed you on your own song,'" Money B says. "So Pac calls me like two weeks later, and he's like, 'Yeah, you were alright.'" I was like, "'Told you.'" Watch above.
Strictly 4 My Niggaz was a slept on album. Got some of my favorite Pac songs on it. Real 2Pac fans appreciated it
Which ones are your favorites?
Last wordz, Representin' 93, Hollar if you hear me, dear momma, and I get around
Anthony 410 dear momma wasn't on that album
That Something 2 Die 4 interlude though
Ben Bailey you're right. I meant to put keep your head up
Money B's verse is classic!
True
& 2pac wrote that
@@j-spotj-spot8903 no he didn't
It wasn’t better than PACs tho!
Money B killed it on "I get around".
2pac biggest weakness was being too loyal that's a very good thing but sometimes it could be a bad thing that's why Tupac is a real one
Yeah it's ♊ weakness... Can't lie I have a problem with it as well
Loyal and naïve got him killed.
What?? 🤔😂😂😂😂
loyalty is from clowns to Bosses.
@Nightcrawler 13 He did back Snoop up for the murder case before riding on Bad Boy camp ass verbally. He mentioned it at the end of the live concert @ House of Blues before they started performing 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted.
People getting mad that Money B is saying shit that him and Pac used to say to each other personally.
Goes to show how bad folks be on Pac's nuts so much.
because people are idiots and 2pac groupies even thought most of them weren't even born when he was alive.
nomibe2911 - Yea thats just home boyz talking shit to each other.
nomibe2911 right people so simple minded
They all had fire verses though no one out did each other 2 me.They all shined big brothers with lil brother having fun it wasnt a battle song it wuz a have fun party track.
y'all have to admit, watching these Vlad interviews on 2pac was way better than watching the movie in my opinion😂😂...JS
Very true. I said that the old day.
Damn its that bad?
Marcus Talmadge Ser it for yourself. I enjoyed it
D Raines actually not , The movie was awesome R.i.p Pac
D Raines yup 😂😂
Always love Money B. Seriously under appreciated talent as a lyricist and rapper.
Didn't use it then but "44 will make sure all you're kids don't grow" went on to the greatest diss hip hop song in history: "Hittem Up"
His verse on Same Song was 🔥
was better on that for sure.
Omg!!!!! I rewind his part everytime!!!
Now that I know Pac wrote Shock's verse I can totally hear it.
I bumped I Get Around that whole damn summer back in 93.
Pac was a hell raiser! A true definition of a Rebel With A Cause! I'm a huge backer of BIG but I gotta admit hearing these firsthand encounters of Pac nobody can take his spot as a true soul! Miss the presence of these brothers in the game!
Very special soul man incredible
I get around was PAC intro to commercial success
caramel king200000 We can't hold a conversation foh bum
Hamza Faison rappers have to rap about what the white man tells them to nowadays...
Keep ya head up was the second tho....Pac was all about balance
Brenda Got a Baby?

Once they run out of Tupac's associates to interview, they'll start interviewing his mailman, manager at his first job, high school guidance counselor...
On the real... Most of his interviews I see is artists talking about Tupac.
😂😂😂...
and ima still click that bitch to see wassup everytime , RIP MAKAVELI THE DON
They'll never run out
Lol
I Get around was the First PAC song I ever Heard, I remember I was like 6 years old and my Older brothers was Watching the video on Bet "the Box" only real ones remember "the box" that used to come on- On Bet😅💯
LA Bully, The Box had its own channels, plural because there were two Box channels.
Music Television that you control
Naw, only real ones remember the Ed Sullivan Show.
The box dang the best times were the 90s,,we had it all today is just different its just evil these days
Yo MTV raps!
Not sure if he killed Pac, but his verse was nice though. It was a prefect little break from Pac's part
shock g... won on this song.. og
@@jimmybrown2040 pac wrote shock verse
Money B is referring to his written lines, not his delivery. He erased Tupac's lines and put in his own and Tupac agreed that he killed his words, not Tupac's performance.
I totally agree, comments showing the masses lack of style and taste. Money and verse was off pitch and tone to the song and others singing , kinda remedial words and subject he was talking about and was choppy and interrupted the flow of the song but they made it work. But it was too much of a contrast and not flowing or matching anything of the rest of the song in my opinion. Some serious dick sucking in these comments about loving his verse and he killed everyone else . Bad style and lame Taste people!
“my Fofo make sure to kids don’t grow” PAC was tryna get those bars off for years 😂😂
Lmao facts, he finally found a way to use em at the right time, the right place, & for the right reason on Hit em Up 🤣😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
As a rapper myself, it be like that😂
I get around is one of my favorite songs forever and always
U fine as hell
30 years later and he still sounds the same
an Interscope kept trying to censor Tupac's songs so that's why he was getting pissed
He sounds like RL from next
micah 5ive yes he does
Alot of Yall didnt listen to the Interview Pac laid the whole entire track but Money B ended up re- writing his verse with Shock G on the Track and didnt use 2Pac's Version. When Money B say's " I Killed you on your Song" He meant the part that Pac had wrote for him.
Vlad is reaching hella far with the title of this video...
Pac had hookup breaks on the shoot. Could you imagine having that while you were working?
lol
Ha haha ha ha 'I get around" he smashed her the chic with a badass booty
Throw your hand in the air was my joint back in high school early 90s and 2024 is still is!
I loved "holla if you hear me"....I got the album cuz of that song. "I get around" was alright. I liked more radical and conscience Pac
"Keep Your Head Up" is the song I fell in love with 2pac's music and got me more into his shit....."I Get Around" was good, but it didn't hit me..... I still listen to his music today.... I knew him cuz I seen Juice and shit but when I heard "Keep Your Head Up" I knew Pac was for real amazing, and then I got his CDs.... and years later, I still remember getting All Eyez on me on Feb 13th....
Rest in peace 2pac and SHOCK g
They all snapped! But Shock G's verse is 🔥🔥🔥
it's a lot of real G's doing time cause a groupie bit the truth a told a lie. what a coincidence Pac.
orlanduce " bent the truth "
That’s literally what happen to PAC
nah he didn't kill pac or shock g for that matter 😂
That was their conversation...
Str8 legend. Mad props to Mon B.
He mentioned DAVE HOLLISTER for the vocals on KEP YOUR HEAD UP #salute
What's up, love? How you doin'?
Well, I've been hangin', sangin' tryna do my thang, oh, you heard that I was bangin'
Your homegirl you went to school with? That's cool
But did she tell you about her sister and your cousin? Thought I wasn't
See, weekends were made for Michelob
But it's a Monday, my day, so just let me hit it, yo
And don't mistake my statement for a clown
We can keep in the down low long as you know that I get around
You thought I wasn't
Nice verse
Thank you for posting the whole thing! Some people on here are leaving parts out
He never said Pac said he killed him his exact words were "Yea, you was aiight"
Click bait at it's finest plus he could have made that whole convo up.
"Weekends were made for michelob but it's a Monday my day so just let me hit it hey".
Cmon son
ceeloc I'm crying bruh
U saying it’s weak ?
You’re missing the rest of the verse lol! 🤣🤣
Bars 🔥🔥😂
His voice is so unique! This is the problem we have Legends like Money B, DMX, Shock G and others and do nothing until they die and I know he's not dead but these People are and we're the real deal. So let's give them their Honor now not later
Listen or watch the video of "same song" by digital underground.. He wheres sunglasses and he sounds so much like Easy E that people thought he was him in the video.
I guess now we know who really killed Pac
Dame L
Dame L
L
Dame L
wtf means that "L" ?
That “a dime and a nickel” ad-lib is so underrated 🔥🔥 lol
Money B, Shock G, DJ fuze true innovators in this rap game!
Yes indeed. If I am correct dj Fuze produced can you feel me from Dru down?! That's top 5 Westcoast songs of all times!
@@Eichwiesel He did? Shit I didn't know that, Fuze improved a lot from early Raw Fusion for sure, a lot of the early Raw Fusion sounded east coast.
I never knew who was on that song. He held his own, and its a classic verse, but Nah Son....
You didn't eat him on the track.
#Salute
I get around My fav 2pac song 🔥
Money B came hard on a lot of guest features. He had the best verse on this track and had the best appearance on Delinquents "Talkin' Dirty After Dark"
Man some peoples taste is interesting. As I’m NOT! Haha money and verse didn’t match tone or pitch of the entire song, was a hard curve and pretty remedial and childish . It worked but defiantly could’ve been better or someone better
In my opinion Pac's most powerful song is Keep Ya Head Up......such a powerful record, man! That's the equivalent to Marvin Gaye's What's Going On
Definitely Pac’s penmanship 3:05. Thanks Money B for this reality check I can finally cash
stop it Money B did not kill Tupac on his own song , but that video shoot with Tupac Smash and all the girls and every break he mastered playa
All Star lol
They all were rapping on the song. They all made the song a classic.
He didn't dare kill PAC on that track 😳
😂😂😂💀
Right pac just wanted to make him feel good lmaof.
@ShabazzJones-lv8qf pac was a nice person he wanted to make you feel good if you felt hurt
Damn that was Dave Holister on that keep ya head up wow!"👍Chicago Westside check-in 🌏
Its funny he tells Tupac that "i get around" is the single and not "holla if you hear me" because that year 1993. I wasnt feeling hollar if ya hear me and didnt even check out his album til later that year "i get around" was released. Money B even says that the album was tanking and it was. Around my way. no one was bumping it. I get around was the jam and made all of us peep it.
Money B goes into an auditorium fill with people.
Money B: any questions?
Everybody: hands up
Money B: no questions pertaining Tupac
Everybody: hands slowly go down
Its crazy "Holla if you hear me" is one of my top 5 Pac songs
I alwAys will cherish Pacs song My Block the most that made me wanna rap..Cus I was infatuated with the way he used rhymes to tell a story that resembled my life growing up I could feel every word..it was real life..
aka "my verse was the weakest, but Pac is dead now so ima just say we both agreed mine was better"
Lol ikr right
Yea ahhhite, like u know
Funny as hell😂😂😂😂
People have been saying anything & making up stuff up since 2Pac has been dead. I'm wary of what people say regarding 2Pac. I wouldn't be suprised if he made this up. I'm also very observative & I feel like Money bee has some jealousy towards 2Pac. I didn't start feeling this way because of this video but from things I've peeped so I'm wary of him. Also yea you was Aight doesn't equate to I agree you killed me on my own song.
Truly Makel hey dumbass this was pac true homie who put pac on so stfu
" i used to ride around bumpin the beat in my mustang " yo thats so dope lol
“A dime and a nickel”🔥
No way in hell did Money B kill PAC on his own track! lmao Get outta here
Jonathan Montes - No way, his one line wasnt better than either of Pacs verses.
Niggaaaaaa pleeeeeeeeese, quit actin like it couldntve happened
TheLfunk77 - Yea It couldve happened. There were times when I felt Big Syke had a better verse than Pac. CPO and Big Syke had the better verses in Picture Me Rollin, and I felt all the Outlaws had better verses in Baby Dont Cry. So yea it happens just not often. And Money B had a tight verse when you analyze the lyrics, his was very unique "weekends were made for Michelob, but its a Monday my day.." cuz they all called him Mon. But wasnt better than Pacs though.
Jonathan Montes money b killed it, just admit it!!!!
Money B killed that shit
Pac might have thought he did better but I don't think he did
Man I used to play Strickly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z Everymorning before I headed to school... That album was the shit. It had some bangers but I can admit during the spring n summer of 93 I get around was the shit and in heavy rotation. The video done him justice because it was the first time he was fully bald as u could see him, the tattoos the Thug Life tattoo was first shown, so you could most definitely see his star rise. Then Keep ya head up was a summer hit for sure that year then he dropped Papaz Song and that video was great... Plus he done Gotta get mine on Mc.Breed so he was beginning to bubble that year.
i prefered tupacs verses personally, and i thought money b's verse was the weakest in the song, because his flow doesnt match the song, plus his lyrics dont really make sense.
but ok,if thats how he feels tho.
I gotta agree I think shock came second behind PAC and then money B
the stand out verse for me is tupacs second verse...and whats funny is he sais''theres alot of real g's doing time, because a groupie bent the truth and told a lie''
you could say thats why Pac eventually ended up in prison.
NGT4LIFE 💯
money sucked
that's how him and pac feel tho
you had a great verse but Pac was on point too :D
The chick he talking about that was blowing the horn in the Rump Shamed video is Bobby Browns current Wife 😮
LeoTheLioness Queen to:
Her name is Alicia Etheredge.
I get around was one of Tupac best and underrated singles and I agree money b and shock g are very underrated which is ironic cause they we re the beginning of Tupac s rap career
I thought I saw a live performance at the Appolo where digital underground performed life to a beat that sounded like Pac's Holler If You Hear Me... This adds up
He did that fo sho !!! 💎verse
good interview vlad. now we need one with shock g please
The girl in the Rump Shaker video is Alicia...Bobby Brown’s wife now 🤣😏🤦🏽♀️
I like how he talks ... its very detailed and you can imagine the scenario
I get around is my favorite 2pac song
Misleading title
Very misleading. Money Bee could be making this up for one. 2nd of all even if the conversation went how he said it. Pac never agreed. He said yea you was aight
I remember when that video came out I didn’t even know that it was on the album
My favorite song by Tupac.....and Money B verse was nice glad he changed it lol
I Get Around verses ranked by best flow
1. 2pac
2. Money B
3. Shock G
In that order
"How many girls did he smash" damn Vlad LOL
Straight no chaser. As if you didn't wanna know.
Ive still got some single cd’s, i get around is hard to come by its always expensive
Well when did the song and video for
" Trapped " come out ?? Before or after
"Holla if you here me" ??
Bruh respect to Vlad for saying strictly
Personally, I thought Pac's last verse was the weakest. And Money B killed it fa sho. Makaveli forever but stop frontin' like Mon didn't do his thang on there. Dope verse.
Pac last verse was the best in the song
pac last one was the best 😂😂 you trippin
Please guys and gals Digital Underground is my favorite group of all time. Shock G and the crew were pac's true friends beside snoop. It needs to be nothing but respect on this post. Respect culture!
Pat smashing hella tings lol my boi👊♨💯✌😂😅
This was great
Why do a grown man wanna know how many women another man been with?
And now strictly for my kniggaz is in my opinion one of his best albums period.
my favourite vlad interview money b talking about tupac is dope !!
Underrated!
I would have to agree, definitely had the best verse on there. PAC 2nd verse was a monster too.
I thought "when my homies call" came out before " I GET AROUND" ...?
Right. I thought
" Trapped " came out b4
" Holla if you hear me "
???
It did. It was on 2pacalypse now.
I know im late as hell but damn holler of you hear me is so hard. He needed something smooth like I Get Around after that. One of the best 1-2 single/video rollouts in history
E-40, C-Bo, MC-8, & Ice Cube was my favorite rappers at that time.
Tupac didn't become my favorite rapper until "Thug Life" and "Above The Rim" came out.
Pac was a genius,he wrote the whole song and prepared verses for MoneyB and Shock But only used Shocks...But wait Money Didn't even mention Pac Had 2VERSES!!! Lyrical Genius!
nobody had nothing for the beat until Pac got their creative juices flowing
Damn they gave Pac the I get around beat??!! Just so he can transcend from them...
He's so talented and underrated!
Yeah
Watch the i get around video, and look at pacs face after money b finishes his verse
Great interview. Dude is real
Money said the girl that's massaging Pac in the tub, is the same girl playing the sax on Rump Shaker.🤔 No, not the same girl. She's the one married to Bobby Brown.
little did they know ..shock g killed em both 😂
AB Supreme 2pac wrote shock shit. Did you not hear money b
Other than All About U, I Get Around is my favourite Tupac Song
🗣Yooooo Money B you need to set the record straight about the Back 💯Picture of you & PAC up bruh
Interview the remaining members of H-Town.
If you don't mind...
Domonique' Renee' hey there beautiful
I literally listen to knocking boots at least once a day
Domonique' Renee' aint alot left but thats some real shit keep spreading the positivity yo
Knockin Da Boots and Keep Ya Head Up used the same sample. H Town just slowed it down.
Like someone said on another video, Vlad really does has enough material here to make a Tupac movie himself, about 3 of them like a Godfather trilogy lol
