Amazing sound. I saw them in Feb of 2020, just before everything shut down. My ONE complaint about seeing them live: I wish they'd play more NEW music, off the last 3 albums. I LOVE the classics, but we're creeping up on 10 years and 4 albums with Todd at the helm. He has nothing to prove to the Half-Step Geoff crowd. Queensryche belongs to Todd now. They should play their new music proudly, because the last 3 albums are awesome.
Todd sounds like a young Geoff Tate, I love how he sounds nowadays, he's got more voice control of the older Queensryche songs than when he first joined the band. 🎸🎵🤘🏻

He's kind of a combo of Tate & Dickinson in the nuances but spot on for sure. An excellent replacement and his runs are effortless whereas Tate can barely squeeze out the notes anymore yet walks about like he's still got it. He gets by with a little help from his "friends" if ya know what i mean. They all gotta get paid but this band should have hung it up once Christ left. I'll die on that hill.
Tate is 63 years old, wanna compare vocals? take a look at Tate's Live in Tokyo when Tate was younger. By the way I saw Tate playing Rage and Empire last week and he still cuts it. This version of QR has had nowhere near the success they once had with Geoff.
The thing is, they were opening for Judas Priest. They have a shorter set as a result and I would assume it's more likely that Priest fans would be more familiar with old Queensrÿche stuff than the new. The other thing is, they've said that Mike Stone is taking the time to learn some of the new material since it hasn't been too long since Parker left and he stepped in. They'll play more from the 3 Todd albums on future headlining shows.

I hate the fact that there was disagreement among the band members to the point that they broke up! I remember hearing on the radio that they had broken up and it was one HELL of a Gut Punch! I kept hoping that they would get back together but, it wasn’t to be!

Yes. The last three albums are INCREDIBLE - especially Condition Human.
About 5 years ago they were doing all the newer music. They changed 3 years ago.

That audience is so lame!! Back in the 80's and early 90's, the audiences were totally energetic and were actually enjoying the show.
