Interesting not a single new song, unless they didn’t post it. And they have some really good newer material that could easily make the set. Thanks for posting!
The two hardest members to replace in a band are the singer and the drummer. Queensryche has had to do both. I have been a fan since the ep dropped all those decades ago and will always love Geoff, Chris and Scott. But things change and bands move on. For me, I have loved everything they have done since Todd has joined the band. This is as good as it could ever be under the circumstances. Todd has a monstrous voice. Just check out his solo album "Rejoice in the Suffering". It's a stunning display of metal singing. And he is a very, VERY good drummer as well. The four albums he has done with Queensryche are some of my favorites in their catalog. This is a very strong set and there are clearly songs that Geoff had stopped singing with Queensryche decades ago. So, from that standpoint alone, it is great to hear all these deeper tracks from the early prime of the band. If you don't care for it? That is more than cool. No one can speak for what each of us likes or dislikes. Love what you love and must move on from the things you don't.
Sunken Gardens is such a great venue! I’ve seen so many bands there, I even saw Queensryche with Geoff around 2004ish. I wish they held more concerts there these days.
Queensryche was blessed to gain such a phenomenal vocalist who could sing the classics but also continue forward with fantastic new music. Absolutely amazing Todd La Torre! 🤘🏾🤘🏾💥💥💥💥
That’s some incredibly difficult material. Nobody in on the planet can sing that stuff except prime Tate. But that guy is gone. Todd is doing a solid job. Will always miss DiGarmo and Rockenfield, but this version of the band is doing the material justice. I’d pay to see this show.
@@jeffburnett6425 Michael Wilton (guitar) and Eddie Jackson (bass) are the only original members that still on the band. the drummer is Casey Grillo, ex drummer for Kamelot. Tate was fired in 2012 and they played in the same festival in Barcelona years ago (Tate with Avantasia and Queensryche separately, Rock Fest Barcelona 2017). there can you see that is playing Queensryche with this line-up and Tate watching and enjoying the show from the backstage. haha. surreal but true.
The ryche is opening for Tesla here in a 4 night metal fest in key west fla... No parrot fuckin heads allowed can't wait... Only thing is need better light show and fuckin move around Eddie and Mike more please
It doesn’t matter what people say. It doesn’t sound the same since Scott Rockinfield left the band a fabulous drummer who is sadly missed. I hope he comes back as he and Eddie Jackson are brilliant musicians who work very well together.
Great great stuff. Having seen the band with Tate all the way back to 87, and all the way through their career, to the current lineup? Todd does justice to everything he's touched. And the band does a fantastic job of mixing it up with old and new. I have tickets to two shows on the upcoming tour, and I'm stoked. Saw Geoff recently and he held his own. Still has it going on with a solid band of his own. Glad to see both lineups still continuing on, and bringing us this incredible catalogue.
I have seen the original band do this song on several tours throughout my years and I agree Todd did a great job. Actually all the songs sounded good, it was a really good show. thanks again for posting.🤘🏽
Holy!!!!!! SH*T!!!!! Going to see Priest tonight and was going to skip this since i lost track after Tate. I figured i’d just look on youtube to see what is happening with them and this is really god damn good. And the set list is just fantastic. @@maaaguz well i was completely blown away by Queensryche to the point that they actually ruined Priest for me. Queensryche was super tight and had a great show. Priest ended up being sort or a tired show. Halford as always was great, but it was sort of a let down. And i have seen priest many times
Amazing show! The band decided to perform a set list of their most heavy metal phase. La Torre is definitely among the ten greatest heavy metal vocalists in history.

Tate, DeGarmo, Rockenfeld all gone. The primary songwriters of nearly all these songs are not there. You had it right, it's a cover band now. Great performance, don't get me wrong, but I don't know how they can still call themselves Queensryche
It's such a great thing about Queensryche even after all the changes and everything the band has gone through over the years one thing stands the test of time and trials is the music. I love at 42:00 where Todd says “I got this one” knowing full well he could hit that E5 when most singers (modern Tate especially) would just point the mic at the crowd and have them doing it. It proves how talented he is.
@@chrisslooter2825 I saw Tate last year. He couldn't even stay in pitch on songs like One & Only. His tone is way better than it used to be but he doesn't have any of Todd's energy.
Like to see them once more in The Netherlands. Seen them five times since 'Rage, supporting for B.J. ... Than the Mindcrime tour opening for Metallica (Justice), even met Criss & Geoff in my hometown for a radioshow the night before the concert. Other three times as headliner, first was Aardschokdag 04-29-'89.
E.M.I. Records really busted their humps promoting this band when the warning came out in 84 putting them on tour with Iron Maiden on the powerslave tour which had them do 5 nights at Radio city music hall!!!!!
@@gearhead762 He may sound like Tate, but that, right there, proves how good he is because he can pull it off. On top of that, he also replaced Midnight in Crimson Glory and that dude made Tate sound like Lemmy from Motorhead,as far as range, yet LaTorre pulled that off too. The man deserves mad credit, stepping in for 2 of the most iconic metal vocalists of all time
God damn Todd sounds sooooo good here Wow 😮! Geoff is Geoff & will always be but, you gotta give credit where it’s due & let’s face it Todd if fucking killing it here 🤘🏻
Twice I saw the original Ryche live back in the 80's and they were great then but today Todd adds the same intensity from the past. He is such a versatile singer. He kind of looks like Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. He is doing an outstanding job as the lead singer for Queensryche.

QUEENSRYCHE RULES!!!! next week with JUDAS PRIEST in NJ! heavy metal rules!!
Have fun!
Put real quality out there. This band owns. Do em Justice
LaTorre sounds so great! What a voice! 🔥🔥🔥❤️🤘
Thanks for posting. Excellent sound!
My pleasure!
This is a great video!!!!!!
Glad you think so!
Mike Stone welcome back. Miss seeing you around Lake Geneva.
En Force is one of my faves. Stands the test of time.
Same here,.NM156 too
The 2nd guitarist is Mike Stone. He was the co- lead singer and second guitarist for Peter Criss.
I did not know that!
Love Michael and Eddie!!!❤👍
And the others aren't helping the band sound good right?
@@metallion0738 shut up. There are 500 and probably many more that can imitate, Michael and Eddie are the real deal..
I love at 42:00 where Todd says “I got this one” knowing full well he could hit that E5 when most singers (modern Tate especially) would just point the mic at the crowd and have them doing it. It proves how talented he is.
I think you'd better do a little more research on "modern Tate".
@@chrisslooter2825 He can only hit the notes if they’re down tuned. Not saying there’s anything wrong with that.
@@chrisslooter2825 I saw Tate last year. He couldn't even stay in pitch on songs like One & Only. His tone is way better than it used to be but he doesn't have any of Todd's energy.
The sound is really good ... Awesome Queensrÿche! So happy to see you're back on top ! ❤from 🇨🇵🤘
Yay! Thank you!
Sounds pretty damn good
Thanks Mark!
So happy they dropped Silent Ihavetotakeapeepee from the lineup!
LOL Chris!
I love Queensryche. Saludos desde León Guanajuato México 🤟🇲🇽
Great show!
Saw them March 7th in Salt Lake city. Absolutely awesome!
They are!
Awesome!!
E.M.I. Records really busted their humps promoting this band when the warning came out in 84 putting them on tour with Iron Maiden on the powerslave tour which had them do 5 nights at Radio city music hall!!!!!
I didn't know that thanks for the info!
They also opened for Twisted sister playing The Ritz with a splendid version of the lady wore black!!
I saw Queensryche open for Metallica back in 89.
Yeah, saw this show in Dallas. Best Queensryche show since Empire tour
Say what you will but, while Tate is one of the GOATs, LaTorre kicks ass too!
Agreed!
He sounds great because he is trying to sound like Tate lol.
@@gearhead762 Could be, but he's still full of class.
The man deserves mad credit, stepping in for 2 of the most iconic metal vocalists of all time
@@johnstrika9170 im still siding with the original lineup with Tate and also including Rockenfield and DeGarmo.
Hey Bruder :-) Genau das dachte ich gerade als ich Screaming in Digital hörte..und da las ich deinen Post.
Seeing Judas in a few days...can't wait to hear this while I stand in line to buy a shirt.
LOL!
Damn that’s a banging set list!
Yes it is!
Saw them last night and they were excellent!
@@LanceEnglandSQL they give it their all 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼🎸
Yeah,.The song list was proper,.. If they would have played Deliverance it would have my my day!
Tight team..love these guys
