Great to finally see an in depth review on what the individual knobs and functions actually do, like how most people gloss over the cue section. Also very nice to see all the detailed comparison files (love the Daft Punk track btw, of course it had to be French). Is the top Shure M44 cartridge the original stylus? It has very noticeably better higher detail than the Jico styli.
The Mixer comparisons are also very interesting. You can clearly hear the brightness which has been reported on the DJR400, personally I don't like it as it sounds a little harsh, just like how the Concorde has very harsh and distorted highs especially on worn records. Perhaps that can sound alright if you have hearing damage and worn records, but it's definitely not natural nor accurate.
Most surprising to me was how the Euphonia actually lacks quite a noticeable amount of sparkle in the top end -- confirmed when looking at the spectrograms (the opposite being true for the DJR400). Of the mixers I was interested in, the Warm4 and Two Valve sound the most natural and pleasing.
Another oddity was the very apparent lack of dynamics in the Henderson Model X, clearly visible in Audacity. I was under the impression this was a decent little analog mixer, but I would never buy it after listening to it.
The XDJ RX3 USB also sounds quite terrible, and from the spectrogram it looks like a compressed MP3 file was played. Is this true, or is its DAC just really bad? I often play on one and I've never liked its sound so I would honestly not be surprised if it's actually just very bad.
You should post some of these recordings to the Rotary subreddit. This would help a LOT of people decide I'd imagine. Thanks for the in depth work!

Big thank you for your feedback and your long message. You seems passionate :-)
The cartridge is the Ortofon 2M Red.
Of course the XDJ-RX3 is not the most beautiful sounded device, it’s not a great analog or rotary mixer, but I though it was not so bad. I though it was good to put it here for that, just for information, to see how it sounds.
I will add more mixers with time, soon Resør.
And yes, I really like the TwoValve PFL section, but my heart goes to Euphonia, Mastersounds have to put a 32Bits/96kHz sound card into it for recordings and D.V.S. and I will take it ;-)

I checked your mixer comparison files. Great work! Can you tell a bit more how you create them? Is the source a phono input?

      Thank you for your input.
It is made with same cables, same cartridge ( Ortofon 2m red ), Zoom H6 in the past then Zoom H8, same record and audio file.
First audio is from vinyle record and phono input.
Second track is from U.S.B. or U.S.B. sound card with line in. Depends if the mixer has sound card or not.

@@DJSTUFF which one of the mixers prefer you sound wise?

My opinion is not important for two reasons.
1 - Each ear / taste / people is different and react differently for each mixer.
2 - I want my mixer good not just for the sound, but for functions too. And for that just a analog mixer isn't enough for me.
*3 - joker. I really liked my Rane MP-2014. But now my favorite is the Euphonia.

so are 2 iso not to much?

I think yes, but here it was to illustrate both. Usually you put the iso device into a device that hasn't an iso section.
