Welcome to the MasterSounds ISO 4. Our 4-band desktop isolator.
ISO 4 has been designed for creative isolation and shaping of sound, with a “no compromise” approach to audio fidelity. Compact, desktop, and ultra-versatile with 4 bands of isolation, switchable to 3 bands at the touch of a button.
It's isolation on another level, built for discerning audio lovers.
Isolation Frequencies:
4 Band Mode: Sub: 110Hz Low: 210Hz Mid: 1500Hz High: 3000Hz
3 Band Mode: Low: 650Hz Mid: 1500Hz High: 3000Hz
Connections:
XLR Input / Output: Simply take the L/R XLR outputs of your DJ mixer to the XLR inputs on the rear of ISO 4, then take the XLR outputs of ISO 4 and connect them to the L/R inputs of your amplifier or powered loudspeakers.
RCA Input / Output: Simply take the L/R outputs of your DJ mixer to the RCA input on the rear of ISO 4, then take the RCA outputs of ISO 4 and connect them to the input of your amplifier or powered loudspeakers
XLR Input / RCA Output: Simply take the L/R XLR outputs of your DJ mixer to the XLR inputs on the rear of ISO 4, then take the RCA outputs of ISO 4 and connect them to the L/R inputs of your amplifier or powered loudspeakers.
Insert: Our insert point allows ISO 4 to be inserted into the audio mix buss at line level using 1/4” TRS jacks. Simply take the L/R insert point from your MasterSounds DJ mixer or mixing desk and insert it into the L/R INSERT input on the rear of ISO4.

Thanks for the message, So this product is an isolator, designed to give no resonance to each frequency cut/boost. We do have our FX unit which gives a multitude of resonance Q to our FILTER section, giving amazing creative control.

Thanks for the comment, for sure, just run FX into the send / return / insert on our mixer as usual, then take the XLR output of your mixer and add that to the XLR input on FX, then run either XLR or RCA output to your amplifier or powered loudspeakers. ❤

ya, that doesn't work @@mastersoundsaudio1430 if you are using Booth for monitoring and Master Out to the soundsystem. If you can't hear the Isolator on your monitors, it's useless. Ditto if you have a Record out, the Isolator won't be heard if it's in the Master Out chain. It needs to be inserted in a Master Insert chain, that would then effect all mixer outputs, not just the Master Out on a mixer. You folks should know this! It's how professional booths are set-up..

That doesn't work for professional uses with a separate Booth and Recording out. The ISO 4 would need to be added to the Insert chain for master bus, so that it effects all mixer outputs, not just Mains, otherwise monitoring and recording wouldn't be part of the ISO 4 chain. Is this possible? Or is it, like the OP asked, one or the other?

Should be possible to put ISO 4 in the chain between FX unit and Master Insert return on the mixer with the right cables. Would be tricky with inserts of MasterSounds mixers. But as these already feature isolators this shouldn‘t be a real problem.

Thanks for the comment, yes that's right, each band gives full cut so you can go from silence to +7dB on each pot , or indeed all pots.
