    Tucker. I am 55 year who flew PG's for decades. I had an accident, lost my nerve. Long story, I nearly quit... Your videos remind me of a thing a man said to me back in light infantry parachute training, 30+ years ago... "The only true master of a thing, anything... never stops being a perpetual student to that thing and everything else she/he can study". I find my self combing through all your videos for tips on how to be the best I can be and get back into flying. I signed up for a PPG class starting in 11 dang days and wanted to say Thank-You! For taking the time to walk many people like me through some common sense help in making the right choices and being safe and responsible adventurers. Seriously dude, 50, funkin 5 and your young ass is inspiring me!

    How about the extreme anti-government guy? Also open carries during training, "just in case". The FAA will regulate this sport over his dead body.

    • @nedblakely997
      @nedblakely997 6 ปีที่แล้ว +70

      The FAA is funded by theft (taxes) as are all government gangs. They basically go door to door, and demand a percentage of what is in your wallet or threaten you with caging or more theft; if you resist that, they will murder you. Just because you are anti-government doesn't mean you are anti-safety.. it means you are anti theft and forced coercion. Democracy is a theft system. If 99 of your 100 neighbors votes to steal 10% of what is in your bank account every year, it is still theft. If those same people then buy you some things using the loot, like get you a bunch of moldy sandwiches that you didn't want, those people are not serving you, they are not your public servants.. they are still thieves, no matter how many of them vote for it. And just being born behind some imaginary lines doesn't give any group a right to steal from you. You either own yourself and the fruits of your labor or you are a slave. Only today, it is a more perfected type of free range slavery, because they don't want the peasants rioting... but still slavery none the less. The IRS and the private bank known as "The Federal Reserve" were created Christmas eve night by a gang of rich criminals, and they had the presidential puppet of the time, Woodrow Wilson scribble it into law, which gave them the power to print the USD fiat toilet paper that we use as money out of thin air, and require it in their theft (IRS), to keep its value high. Other countries do the same. This doesn't mean all organizations are evil, and that voluntary rules are evil, it just means all governments are just gangs of people that rob and control each other. Regulate yourself.

    • @JonathanHair

      @@nedblakely997 , are you on a watchlist?

    • @nedblakely997
      @nedblakely997 6 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      @@JonathanHair Ha ha, lol, everyone born is put on a watchlist. If you have a "Social Security Number" then you are on a watch list, the real watch list.. you can't even trade with your neighbor without being robbed by the government gang. Uh.. but maybe you are talking about the "watchlists" that the government gang publicizes for "terrorists"? Those list are more like recruitment lists for the CIA.. they take people from that list, and then fund them, and then capture them at the last minute (or let them go though with whatever they funded them for), and create false flags, to promote.. you guessed it.. more government. I am not for creating any kind of terror, I am for pointing out who the terrorists are, the people that work for government. I am for ignoring them as much as is safely possible; no one has to fight government, they just have to stop believing that others have a moral right to rule them and steal their money. And with voting coming up, remember when all the talking heads are babbling on about how important the upcoming election is, what they are REALLY saying is, "it is so important right now that people get back to thinking about politics and voting matters, or we will lose all of our influence, credibility and power!". Yep. And they should. Don't vote.

      @@TheGrandmaster1 responding to a question with facts is showing up on cue? I'm sure there are plenty of people laughing and then calling "troll", you and anyone laughing are just NPCs. You just call a name so you don't have to respond intelligently to what I said because what I said makes sense. Prove that you are not just an NPC by answering a yes or no question: if it is bad for you to do a thing, is it okay for you to hire someone else to do that thing; for example if it is bad for you to go beat up your neighbor and take his stuff, is it okay for you to hire someone to do that for you?

      The MP 40 (Maschinenpistole 40) is a submachine gun chambered for the 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge. It was developed in Nazi Germany and used extensively by the Axis powers during World War II.
      Designed in 1938 by Heinrich Vollmer with inspiration from its predecessor the MP 38, it was heavily used by infantrymen (particularly platoon and squad leaders), and by paratroopers, on the Eastern and Western Fronts. Its advanced and modern features made it a favorite among soldiers and popular in countries from various parts of the world after the war. It was often called "Schmeisser" by the Allies, after Hugo Schmeisser, who designed the MP 18, although he was not involved in the design or production of the MP40. The weapon's other variants included the MP 40/I and the MP 41. From 1940 to 1945, an estimated 1.1 million were produced

    Regardless of what sport your going to get these people! Where you can help or give advise to stop them killing themselves or other people is a good thing! You especially are a roll model & they will listen more to you than someone who is much older or is charging them to teach them! Price is all ways a factor when you make it look so easy taking off & flying under bridges etc! Also the where they live & availability of training comes into it! Good & sound advise is better than making them feel like twits! It's a young & great sport to get them into it where there is so much negative stuff which pushes them in the wrong direction! Well done Tucker, keep up your good videos.

    Great stuff Tucker, Judson's humor nailed the self trained guy right in the laugh box man! Nice to see Jaclyn stepping up and helping out like this on your vids. You're so lucky to have such a fine lady supporting you as she does, you two make such an awesome duo! Pretty sure there's guys like these ten in most every sport there is nowadays. Your love of the sport as well as the enjoyment it brings others, shows through very clearly to all who watch your adventures. Love the direction this vid took us in, hope to see more in future. Maybe this doesn't exist yet: the electric guy that wants to use an electric motor with big battery...
    Looks like a cool sport.

    • @Gkitchens1

      J Drake it does I’ve seen some with electric paramotors.

    • @BobDiaz123
      @BobDiaz123 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      J Drake It's not so crazy, sold state batteries offer 2.5x the stored energy per pound, but are 5 to 15 from being sold on the market. There are already a few electrics out there that use lithium batteries, but the flight time is limited. It's about 20 to 30 minutes.

    • @Greentrees60
      @Greentrees60 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is when I will buy one. They look so absolutely incredible but the noise of the motor would drive me crazy.

    • @autonomous2010
      @autonomous2010 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BobDiaz123 Unfortunately the limited flight time and very high cost (those batteries are expensive, heavy, and have a few year lifespan) makes electric paramotors a proof of concept rather than a practicality.

    • @BobDiaz123
      @BobDiaz123 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@autonomous2010 Today's batteries have that problem, but as I said regarding Solid State Batteries, "but are 5 to 15 from being sold on the market". Somewhere between 2025 to 2035, exact time unknown, the next generation of batteries will be available and offer some amazing power per pound. At that point electric powered flight will be practical.

    Im usually a self-taught guy for most things, but I’m definitely going to invest in some proper training. Do you need to buy a rig before signing up for a program? I feel like it would be cool to drop $1500-2000 on some good education, maybe pick up some risky biskets hoodies, before going all in on a rig.

And this is coming from someone who learned of this sport just a month ago and am beyond ready to experience flight like I've dreamed of but never experienced YET ... since I was 5 years old ... 50 years ago .... wew! The time ... has finally arrived :-)
