    haha.. "im on the wrong toy". FUnny you mention that. My supermoto sits behind my paramotor, with expired tags. My hobbies keep changing thru the decades. Once bicycles and skateboards. Then dirtbikes and snowboards. Then Street/sport bikes. Now....paramotoring. SOmething magical about running into the sky with a blanket and chainsaw motor. Stupid simplicity at its finest. Love it! Thanks for the vid, fairly accurate and informative. I think I heard your wing sob a little as you stepped on its tip....

    I'm in Michigan and flew XC 1-3 times per week all last spring/summer and the majority of it was butter air, because the early birds get the butter ;)

    Yo lets go! I also just shot a mini doc about aviation on my channel. This seems much scarier than flying a cub though haha

    This was a very good video explaining the sport. Also as an FAA certified pilot one of the big problems I see in the sport is there are a lot of people that do drugs and go flying. I believe that this is one of the main causes of accidents and deaths.

    I really wish I saw this before doing my training as I went in knowing very little about PPG (outside of knowing I wanted to do it). Very well described, I'll share this with friends who are considering PPG.

    Can recommend an easy to use inexpensive wing to learn kiting with. Like to look in the used market.

    • @Logan4661
      @Logan4661 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Buy a small, 1.2 meter to 2 meter, dual line foil stunt kite. Fly it with the left toggle in your right hand, right toggle in your left hand. Learn to fly all of the stunts with complete mastery and without having to think about which hand you are using to make it go where you want it to go. This will obviously not teach you everything you'll need to learn, but it is a cheap, safe, and very effective way to get you past the two most frustrating parts of learning to kite a wing.

    hello. with your experience? how many hours have you flown a paramotor? how many years of experience have you? whats the better wing to use depending on 20 mph wind from your experience to try?

    • @Nikrasheta
      @Nikrasheta ปีที่แล้ว +2

      20 mph wind is pretty strong and you would want tons of experience like over 100 hours. You would want to be on a smaller wing based on your weight. The combo should be enough weight to travel at a speed that exceeds 20 mph.

    Not every day you find out how you're going to die, but this is way too tempting not to get into, haha. Foot-rests when? I'm sure something could be fabricated to drop them out when the seat is locked and scoop them back up when the seat is unlocked. Maybe even just a wheel to turn to make them go up or down.

    Interesting channel format!! I like hearing people's stories. Giving them a voice through your channel can be inspiring not to mention entertaining for people who collect different perspectives. Graphic Paragraph. I like the idea since a picture is worth a thousand words, so video is a paragraph of pictures. It is like seeing a student's culmination of whatever they learned in college. I will look for a video of the story behind the people who create the work on this channel. I think that would be very interesting considering this channel has 315k subscribers. I would like to think your subscribers would like to know your stories so they can become more connected to the videos you all (y'all) are producers of. This being my first video, I will have to look at more of your content. There are a lot of great people out in the world, this channel's producers can highlight them.

    Paramotor instructors shouldn't fly or recommend total crap gear from the 1980s. No the prop is not the biggest safety factor as ZERO pilots have ever gone through the netting of a Flat Top into the prop. It's never happened. It's only a problem on the total death trap gear. Stop pushing the crap.

    • @nohandlenoproblems
      @nohandlenoproblems 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh, what a pathetic liar and a hypocrite! Can you point out where the dude is recommending the particular equipment? For what I see, here's the quotes and the timestamps:
      3:05 "there are a lot of different combinations of frames, engines, harnesses"
      3:32 "there are a lot of different types, there is no best type"
      9:25 "doesn't have to be any particular brand"
      But certrainly I do know one person who IS "pushing the crap", and that crap is exactly "total crap gear from the 1980". Guess who? His name starts with "D" and ends with "ell Schanze"! That a-hole is trying to frighten the people to buy said crap by calling everything else "death trap", and the rhetorics never changes over all these years.

      Here too in Belgium. Have to pass theory exams first before you are even allowed to take off. Then you need lessons from an instructor, with practical exams to pass.
      Then before flying you need to notify your city that you are going to fly, and state from where to where. They also have a registration number on the wing.
      Yes I agree with the knowledge and tests so you are aware of the airspace legality etc and the knowledge of flight and the equipment but for me it’s too much that you have to give notice of when you intend to fly.
      Imagine after work I get home and the weather is perfect, I can’t just grab my gear and go flying Because I haven’t informed my city council
