1999: Washington Redskins vs New York Jets Remastered NFL Highlights

The Redskins took a bite of out Big Apple football with a back-to-back Meadowlands sweep, if you will, defeating the New York Jets one week after beating the New York Giants in consecutive road games at Giants Stadium.
This was the second meeting between Norv Turner and former Redskins nemesis Bill Parcells, with Turner winning again (Parcells went 3-5 against Washington during his post-Giants career so yes, "former").
The Jets made it harder on the Redskins than did the Giants, but again, Stephen Davis scored three rushing touchdowns whilst Brad Johnson and Albert Connell teamed up to embarrass Jet's cornerback Ray Mickens, whose names was called all afternoon for all the wrong reasons.

Also this was back to back victories in Giants staduim. The previous week the Skins blew out the giants. .50-21!.. We definitely had a good Quarterback in 1999...Until Snyder thought he could buy a Super Bowl in 2000..Brought in Jeff George among many other failed free agents! Just the beginning of what has been a nightmare with him as owner!

@brianjungen4059 more complex??? What blowing 4th quarter leads untimely turnovers-stupid penalties- Jus complete mess after starting the 2000 season 6-2..In 99 they were a bad snap away from being in the nfc championship game..Complex..Well ok

@@jamiedove430 yeah. Like forgetting the entire offense got hurt, which is the main reason they fell off. Both starting WRs, 3 O linemen, starting TE, RB and QB all missed time due to injury. Norv being an idiot and cutting kickers every week didn’t help either. Norv was a horrible coach as his teams never played with any intensity or discipline. So yeah there’s more than “Dan was dumb” which he was, but the goal of the offseason was to improve a horrible defense. Which they did. If the offense had been as god as the year before, they would have been a really good team.
