So happy that you are enjoying the words as much as the pictures - the storytelling is always part of the process for me. Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment.
I love your progress videos. It is either my little treat in the evening, when I don’t have the energy to craft myself or the tickling start my own few minutes of fun. You always inspire me and I do certainly feel that „let it sit for a few days and it will resolve“. I quite liked the accidental layout, when you added the third photo in the top right corner. It seemed like the other two looked at him and where just very happy to see him. He could be a tab attached to the lovely ripped edge. I’m looking forward to seeing how you finish it.
So happy that you are enjoying these as a special treat - that's lovely to know! And yes, I did quite enjoy that photo there too, but he didn't make it in the final cut, I'm afraid... Thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comment.
Hi Alison. What a great video, I love the way your mind works. I could listen to you and watch you do your art all day. You'd make a fabulous teacher. The teachers I loved at school, were the ones who used to read stories to us at the end of the school day. It was great to look at all the other children, and try to read their minds. I've always had a good imagination, and loved to make pictures in my head, connected to the stories. You're a great storyteller with your beautiful art. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care, xx❤❤😊😊
That's such lovely feedback, thank you... isn't it amazing how we never forget those teachers from our childhoods who made an impact? I love sharing stories, so your comment really made my heart sing today.
Love the composition of the page so far and interested in the story that’s about to evolve. I so love your process and techniques Alison. Thanks kindly for sharing❤️🇨🇦
Oh, that's lovely to know that you are playing while watching... and yes, giving projects - especially journal pages - time to marinade is really valuable, I think.
Hello Alison... love using the remaining papers from cutting out the autumn leaves. I'll look forward to seeing what develops once you've allowed time for it to ruminate. Take care and have a loving weekend. 🙂
I so enjoy watching your process and the way you decide on layouts and ephemera. It's a good reminder that you don't have to complete something in one sitting, but can go away and then come back to it. I look forward to revisiting the page.
Thank you. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next too! I think letting a journal page rest for a while can be really valuable to the process.
Get well soon, thank you for sharing this lovely background and inspiration for using your die cut left overs. Can't wait to see what you finally create when it's finished. I have left a background for a year before 😂
Oh yes... backgrounds sometimes have to wait a l-o-o-o-n-g time! But I think I have an idea where this one is heading, so hopefully it won't be too long a wait! Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Lovely pages so far, I love listening to your reasoning about where things should go. I look forward to seeing the next part of these pages, thanks Alison. I hope you are feeling in tip top shape soon.
I absolutely love listening to your thought process and I could listen to your interpretation of the photos for hours. You always make me smile ❤

Love the open edge of the leaf page against the jagged torn page! Thank you for the inspiration!
I always love those leafy cut-out pages, and try to make the most of them... and yes, that torn page edge is a very happy accident!

Thank you so much, Helene - I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next!
Your video's are my favorite whilst I am crafting myself. I so recognize the "letting it sit for a while", I do that often.
