Lindsey, thank you for sharing your story. I am 69, and just found JessonArt's channel today. I have a similar story. I lost my beautiful mother 8 years ago. There was less than a week to clear her apartment. With my overstuffed house half a continent away, a lot of things had to be let go. There were boxes of ancient family photos. My grieving brain led me to put everything next to a dumpster for disposal. A man I barely knew (long story, not romantic, a true friend) was aghast. He went and got everything, took the pictures to a lab for scanning, and sent me the cds. Like you: forever grateful, this time for the kindness and wisdom of a stranger. Wishing you peace, and healing.
