That one is Lunatiques in Mascot, they're huge! While you're there you can also visit Mitchell Road Antique & Design Centre in Alexandria, they're about 5 minutes apart.
I live work from home and live alone so I have always felt that if I don't have enough rooms that converting the living room into an office or even a bedroom is a great choice. But since you purchased this home and are living in it with someone else, was there any issue agreeing to convert this space into an office? And is there some other room that you use as a living room/ lounge space? or do you just hang out in the bedroom or the kitchen when you arent working? I used to just lay in bed and watch tv so I never found a couch necessisary. But it would be hard for me to convince someone else this wasn't a necessity.
There’s a room downstairs between all the bedrooms that is going to be the ‘lounge room’. It’s small, but enough for occasional lounging. Right now though, we don’t have a lounge space yet. It was an easy decision for us due to lifestyle - we only use lounge area for watching movies. I don’t normally lie on couch during the day, and by the time I wrap up everything, I go straight to bedroom to wind down - same with my partner but she does different things during the day. If necessary, maybe can fit a couch in the living room turned office so it is multifunctional (or make the room dual purpose), and easier to convince the other party?
At 9:28 you feature art made out of wood only using their color. Any chance you can link the creator/ post the artists name? It is incredibly beautiful!
Markets be crazy or what? You can spend a few hours of your time and make these simple things for 10 times less money then what these sellers want. I didn't know you had such great diy skills. Magicplan is easy to use on ipad (free up to two projects). Floorplanner is nice and free, or SketchUp if you want 3d modelling as well.
