I rode to H.S. in the back of Ronnie's aunt's Camaro with Ronnie and Andy for a time because I was kicked off the bus for fighting. Guy's my age, close to 60, love these old Camaros. Good times leaving rubber on the back roads of Morris County N.J.
Just started following you love the channel let me know if you have any old classics you wanna sell I do autobody work and paint for a living and would love to build one with my twin boys
Stick to whatever order of projects you originally planned to complete, and maybe tag on a Camaro update onto the end of each video as you research and obtain pieces for this project. This way, you can complete your projects and satisfy those who are interested in this Camaro.
Build it, man..as you know parts are cheap, and available everywhere. One thing about '67s is they are easy to sell, I sold some of mine before I could even finish them. Keeping my convertible though!
I have a thing for left for dead cars myself...i like the stuff you find. It's the same stuff i gravitate towards. I'd say depending on how many cars you have going on at once. I can only do one at a time or one and prep for the next one. I wouldn't get rid of anything if you don't have to. How many cars do you have? What's the deal with the 70 Camaro next to it? I had a 71 rally sport in Citrus Green, man I wish I still had that car man. I just picked up a 69 396 SS EL CAMINO. Really pumped lob it. Sat for 35 plus years in a barn...anyway, my old man you use to say, if you don't have to do anything with it right now, don't kick it done the road or sell it. Just sit on it. Get the others done first then revisit this one. It is a great body style. I love them all. I can't discriminate. All the cars back then had so much style man. Anyway, whatever you do, you gotta have fun, and it looks like you are. Keep it up!
Id leave paint exactly as is. Matt clear coat over it. The problem with burned cars is the metal has changed physics . It don't bend no more it snaps. It would need a roll cage for definite. And then body twisting means it needs strengthening. Leave paint and patena exact. Not even a drip rail. Round off rear arches. Good luck.
This would be a great future project but I'd love to see you get back on the 69 Mach 1 since they're my all-time favorite cars.Sorry but I'm gonna have to give you a " C'mon man!" for those Bon Jovi comments. He's still alive, has a full head of hair and is celebrating the bands 40th anniversary this year with a new album and tour. Hair metal forever!
I just picked up the intake and timing set for the mustang. Next I gotta rebuild the carb and it’ll be go time! Sorry about not being caught up on Bon Jovi 😂 I’m more of a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan
@@DezzysSpeedShop Excellent! Can't wait to see the next update on the Mach 1.The first hot rod I ever built was a '69 mach 1 back in the early 80's. Couldn't resist busting your chops on the Bon Jovi comments. You're probably like 30 years younger than me so you're forgiven for not being up on the latest Bon Jovi happenings. 😂😂
Love your channel and wish you the best of luck, but that is a huge project, not a very good starting point unless you already have a garage full of used 67 camaro parts, and even then, i would use those parts to improve it enough to make it more presentable and flip it to finance something else.
hi dezzy ....man thats a project ,,,would LOVE to see this come about if youre up for the task ,,,i know perhaps in your area being of the nicer weather ,,,id imagine the junkyards would have som parts cars where you could stay within a budget ,,,things is tho ,,,they have a publication that im hoping is in your area ,,,,called Hemmings motor news ,,,,you could look up what you need ,,,perhaps an identical year as your camaro ,,,that it would take less to restore ,,,whatever parts are on the one you have to put on THAT car ,,i have the publication here in new hampshire ..where as my 55 fairlane ...i can use it or have my friend Ritchie go to the flea markets in Hollis nh ...anyways good luck to you Dezzy ,,please keep us all posted ..looking forward to the stories ,,,i always find them interesting how dead cars come back to life
Everyone will tell you that you can’t or you shouldn’t. Yes, 30 years ago you would’ve found a better core car. Today , you just don’t find early F cars . They’re my favorite too. Definitely understand not diving into a pit . That said , I’d really like to see a young guy build up a fist gen Camaro . 👊
This car can probably take you well over a hundred k followers. It might pay for itself. I think you should build it. And don't let money hold you back. Build it and if you need to redo something, you can always redo it later. Just get it driving.
Maybe GoogleUserGP could chime in if the VIN is available. I know 12337 is a 6 cyl and 12437 is a V8. Cowl tag might help too. Even scrap Camaro cowl tags might help add valuable info to the historians.
In 1967, Camaro had 6 cylinder or 2 barrel 327 or optional 4 barrel 327. SS optioned cars had 350 or 396 engines. Z/28 had 302. This car was most likely the 327 2 barrel engine. It had deluxe interior, A/C, console, not much else for options.
My 2 cents worth, months later, build the car. Shave the drip rails, put in trunk floor, saginaw 4 speed since rock crushers so expensive, 350, AC, paint and drive it. It aint got to be fast, just cool!
Let me give you my opinion on this 68 Camaro, maybe get all of the sheet metal part for it, and when you are between time on your other builders, Chip away on that body work, your going to be busy with that, however, when that Camaro is done, enjoy your ride, or say rides. P s, you need to get an older cadillac and pimp your ride!!!!!!
What are you doing with that 70-73 camaro ? I would be a buyer for it.. plus don't answer to the ppl that can't spell camaro right... it's not camero!!!!
Dude, go watch DD Spedshop's build of his 67 Camaro. It was in better shape than that, and he still ended up replacing damn near the whole car. You would have 15 grand in a 10 grand car said and done.
You already have enough on your plate, move it along to someone who has the time .
Love finding these diamonds in the rough
Build it dude, I have always been a chevelle guy but recently got a 69 camaro barn find I'm building with my daughter ❤
I would love to see you build this camero from the dead. No hard feelings if you decide otherwise.
Need to decode the vin tag and see what this 67 started life as, cool find for sure
To bad the passenger door was froze, could have got at least three more golf bags out of there😂.
Build it now!
You build any of your cars at any time period that you want to. All of your content is interesting. Thanks.
Just found your channel. Would love to see more on this rescued ‘67!
I’ll do an update soon. Been finishing a couple other projects.
th-cam.com/video/cJjB1w1WyZU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nVVKOGSYrLNeN2h1
@ awesome!
Love the content man! Looking forward to what you keep putting out.
Get your oil pump and timing set from Melling Tool if not try Summit Racing supply or a Junk yards for some stuff.
new to the channel bc of this car you should definitely build it
Thanks for subscribing! I have some parts lined up
Amen
Glad to see you Dezzy! You have not responded to my comments lately. Awsome find!!!
i am 67 yrs old . md2020 was the thing in around 72 to 77 or 8. man that along time ago.
then coke started coming heavy.
Oof dah. That's a rough one.
Definatly buid it back to original 4 sp, it will be a nice car when it is done.
What a great save. Like you said they make all the parts you can't find oem for.
Yeah, I’ll be doing an update video here soon. I’ve been collecting parts for it ever since I got it.
Definitely a builder since the floors are not bad 👍🏾... honestly I'm surprised since the windows were out and it survived the fire in the driver side
Part it out, and help someone looking for parts they need.
What's there that anybody would buy or use? It's all toast!

Sounds like you guy had fun!
Just started following you love the channel let me know if you have any old classics you wanna sell I do autobody work and paint for a living and would love to build one with my twin boys
I might have a 1970 Challenger project for sale here soon
Build it I'm not even a chevy guy and I was hoping you were restoring it this one would be really fun to watch you restore

That sounds like the best plan 😎👍🏾
I was thinking the same thing, stick to the projects at hand, b ut tagging the camaro update is a great idea!!!
Definitely want to see work your magic on this
It had a rare deluxe interior in it originally and was probably a 327 4 speed car. It would have had a Borg Warner super T 10 trans
I love that style of camaro, would be good to get the crud off the floor and pull the drain plugs so it does not trap moisture.
Lomb time project but you seem like the type guy who coiled pull it off. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
I’ve been picking up parts for it 😎
Build it for sure! Im hoping yo find a 1st gen or early 2nd gen camaro to build one of these days! Shes rough but totally rebuildable
I have a 68 I’ve been slowly building. Maybe I should show you guys what I’ve been doing with that 😈
Yes please build it now!
Hey there ,I've watched he'd u since u started collecting good job .
Thanks man. I’m still here dragging junk home
Now I'd love to see you show your skill in an episode explaining if or if not they are still in a restoration mode
If what is in a restoration mode?
Road trip to AMD Gainesville, Georgia. With a cargo trailer. Cheaper that way . Once you get to the mid west and the south. Gas prices drop.
It would be interesting to decode the vin number to see what it was originally.
Build it, man..as you know parts are cheap, and available everywhere. One thing about '67s is they are easy to sell, I sold some of mine before I could even finish them. Keeping my convertible though!
Good bones. Either way you're a winner. 😊
I have to admit it i got hooked on your channel because of that car! But dude thats your car now if you have a title it's like the golden ticket!
Yes, build it as soon as possible.
That blackberry camaro needs a rich guy to fix it up
Build it Dezzy, you've got the base for free. Now for some of your ideas on it.
Build it, everyone does the 69 id definitely watch this one
Would love to have it to build

Yeah, I’m just going to collect parts for it as I go. Right now I’m doing the bodywork on my Challenger.
Happy Belated Birthday Bro
Thanks man!
First gen maro dee, wing window. Getting hard to find one. There all at mecom

Ah you didn't decode the cowl tag.
Mad dog, golf bags and instant coffee tins….that is an odd party for sure
Riiight 😂
whats the story with challenger???
I don't think they have that new car smell anymore.😆
i like the name you gave it ,,blackberry ,,once you take all the seeds outta it ,,,,itll be one sweet berry !!!!
That mad dog 😂😂

Thanks, I have two ‘68s also but I’m collecting parts for this one as I go
i myself would even deal with it. more power to you if you do. i'd look for some one that needs parts.
Man I’d be working on that 70 Camaro those are sweet
You should call it the golf bag car
Cool
dezzy with the fact that you got the car for free i would think you would build it ...clean the golf bags you could sell them to buy parts lol
I have a set of seats for that 67 camaro for sale
Check those baseball cards…you never know!!
Admit it, someone was throwing golf bags in from the other side as you were taking them out. Thats more than can fit 😁
You’re gonna need some serious skills to build that one. Pass it on or shove it to the back.
This car can probably take you well over a hundred k followers. It might pay for itself. I think you should build it. And don't let money hold you back. Build it and if you need to redo something, you can always redo it later. Just get it driving.
I've fixed worse at my shop definitely be worth bringing back to life
Dm you got that for free, Lucky Man, im jelous it would look good red with white stripes or black.
build now this car is about to blow ur channel up. you should build it like a series then at the end raffle it off to ur subscribers
First, finish the Caprice, but it's your ride😅
Lot thing needs some love, but Its a 67, somebody wants it bad.
I’ve been picking parts up for it lately
Build it!!!!!!!!!!!! 😎
What size Engine did the Camaro, have stock?

Thanks for the info, was the 307, Available that year
Don’t see this Camaros often
You should absolutely build it right now.. but I'll also admit, I can be a bad influence LOL

Your lookin at it, the rest of stuff can rot.
Bring her back to life
TRUE BARN FIND
👍👍
Might be able to open door from inside?
How much for the 70 Camaro, lol?
Everything is able to be rebuilt but as a Camaro guy can you please take the 68 grill out and put a 67 in lol sorry o.c.d. when I see wrong year parts
Aren’t the seat outta something else too?
Man I could spend $3,500 on it for maybe 4 grand it would bring 25,000 keep that car make yourself a little money it's in demand

More than that orange next to it.
Get the girls drunk on MD 20/20, they can’t get out if the door don’t work🤣
Get a title first! Then build an LS 5 speed street rod. Original blue with black interior.
Finish the caprice. Way cooler car!
buy that 67 Camaro .other people are looking at it, it had Deluxe interior in 1967
Yeah you better get to it before it starts to russt
Paint it Teal
I’m not feeling the teal though. I want either black, lemans blue or royal plum
@@DezzysSpeedShop lemans blue bro 🫡🫡🔥🔥🔥
I would sale it to someone with a whole lot more money than I got lol
Money is something I don’t have 😂. But I have a sawzall and a welder
💪😎

Do half n half. Left side untouched. Right side full resto 😂
When i see rusted relics lije this,i think of the phoenix challenger rebuild or any of the english resto vids which are far worse.
You should sell it to me
So yer 67 wig windows . And no side marker lites major difference in 67-68 Camaro
MD 20/20 😂😂
No time for those fruity drinks 😂
