A .50% cut is more than what most people thought would happen, but calling it a 'jumbo cut's' pushing it🤔
Beneficiaries of high interest rates are savers who have no debt. And I suppose fixed income earners in foreign countries. Seems unnecessary to leave the T-Bill and Chill strategy behind, yields haven't gotten so dismal as to jump ship yet. Besides, in lieu of recent events Powell's already stated there's no rush to further lower rates. In fact I'm becoming more convinced the rate cuts are merely transitory. Personally I'd prefer to keep extra cash parked in short term securities in the interim.

With the changing view towards global trade is it still wise to invest in foreign stocks? If so moving forward which places are best to buy stocks and bonds?
