I'm still using spools of wire I bought at Radio Shack in the 90's!!! Occasionally I buy a Parts by Parks pre-wired distributor. Otherwise I drill my own..

It's definitely way more fun to drill your own....if only I had my eyes from the 80's lol

2:45 - Great paint job! I usually build cars that were molded in color because I'm not very good at painting bodies. I love painting details! OBTW: Cars molded in color get a bad rap that is undeserved.

Watching you go through your detail parts box, had me thinking, "HEY he is going through MY parts boxes" I have almost a carbon copy of the detail items you have. They do say, Great minds think alike.

00:36 - I grew up in Wisconsin. I know all about freezing my butt off while Easter egg hunting. Part of the reason we died eggs is so that we could find them when we hid them outside. Good memories!

Hi Bob, great video! It looks like you have enough stuff to detail a bunch of cars. As a modeler, I save all sorts of stuff, you just never know what you can make out of a little bit of old junk. Your Roth car is coming right along. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff

Great updates and video, my friend 😁 it'd been even longer since I'd wire detailed an engine, mid 00's 😳, but I wired the engine on my (ongoing current project that I haven't posted a video of yet) #32appreciationbuild entry. So far so good 🤞🤣🤞

That 66 Nova you built awhile back is very beautiful and very detailed! I should've known about those colored spools of ignition wiring from Radio Shack when they were still in business! I'm 59 and still do spark plug wiring on the engines at least! Your detailing stuff you have is not old fashioned that you mentioned that there are better engine DETAILERS out today with the newest detailing pieces but theyre VERY expensive and most stuff is so tiny we can barely see it!!!
