I have searched for you for a long long time. Christian , you are the blues maestro that teaches exactly what I most need to learn as a blues pianist. thanks for the tutorials. I wish I were in Germany to study with you directly....thanks for posting for us who need your lessons and tutelage. sincerely....Antwane
Thanks very much Antwane! Comments like yours give me a sweet push, that I do some good to mankind! (If the others of mankind don't play Blues piano, its not my fault! ;-)
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent. I am really working hard on my music and just like so many others I wish you lived next door and I would be at your door everyday. I hope you realize how much you are appreciated and loved by us all.
Beautiful ! Wonderful demonstration of how to play this lovely tune. Thankyou Christian for posting this video, it's sure to help everyone like myself beginning our adventures on the piano. I just love your interpretation of this tune. Thankyou.
Glad to hear it my good buddy' I will be making more purchases from you in hte near future. Just have to be sure my wife doesn't see the bill' She just let me purchase the new Roland Juno DS-88 keyboard' It is amazing and the piano touch is wondeful' Now to be sure to proactice all of your GREAT lessons' Just love the Blues'
Christian You are a genius because you always manage to teach the music I want to learn. As I said before, thanks, thanks, thanks, etc. Bernard alias Papyber
Christian could you do a tutorial on your version of Nobody knows you when your down and out. I purchased the sheet. It would be helpful for a lot of us I'm sure. Thanks
Good Buddy Christian' Thanks for the music scroll' Sure helps a lot' Just a note purchased some of your products today' I will be back for more be asured' Have to help keep you working on all these great songs that you do for us' Thanks Rick'
Hi Christian, thanks again for a wonderful inspiring Blues. It is almost as good as your "Blues to myself" which is for me the most beautiful Blues ever :-). And it is the second Blues where you are playing chords like C -E7 -A7 -d -G7. I really love this chord changes as they add beautiful colours to the standard C-F-G Blues Scheme and would like to learn the harmonic theory behind it. Looking forward to learning some theory.
Thanks Frank! The thought of something of me being great is alien to me. But I kind of like some spots of Blues to myself. And the more people say, wow thats great, I think: Hey, ok, yeah now that you say it...;-)
I don’t know if you’ll do a request but there is a song I happen to love called “she took the Katy and left me a mule to ride”. One version is by Albert King and the other is from Taj Mahal. I think you could translate them to piano very nicely. Just a thought. Keep up the great content.
Sehr inspirierend! Mein Klavierspiel bewegt sich auf einem anderen Level (eher am Ufer des Meeres als in den Höhen der Berge), aber das eine oder andere läßt sich auch für mich umsetzen!
Hi Christian! Thanks a lot for the tutorial, it's amazing! I can't wait to learn this and i'm really glad that I found your channel! I think I'm going to buy your sheet music, but first I was wondering how it looks like? Will it be the part that you explained to us in detail, or also the part in the end (from 9:40) that shows how you play it? Thanks again and I'm looking forward to learning more from you. x
Hey Carina! Great my channel found you! I hardly ever do a score from the explanation stuff. Its always the piece. I might simplify very ornamental stuff, that cant be expressed in notes. Send me an empty mail to infoATfuchs-music.de and I send you a sample to check back. Also I am very generous if somebody received a score that for any reason didnt meet the expectation. Money back, thats it. Christian
So you play the treble clef lower notes with the left hand? I’ve only discovered your channel by accident - I’ve subscribed as you understand how us mere mortals learn. Many thanks.
Yes, good that you ask. Its an earlier tune, when I still hadnt discovered how to designate those notes to the left. Thats why u see the hands to show you. And welcome on my channel, moondancer! I recently made the horrofying discovery that I am aging, too... So now I am one of you mortals. Not bad at all, actually.
Christian, I enjoy your teaching. I tried to purchase some of your products with a VISA Gift card(USA only), and obviously, it would not accept my payment. I was looking forward to working with your products. Any suggestions, as to how a USA person can purchase your products?
Sorry for your problems. Most customers are from the US and they don’t have any problems. Maybe wait a little, use another browser, or restart your computer.
@@ChristianFuchsBlues Thanks so much for your reply. Can you tell me what other USA people are using to make a purchase from your site? My problem is with the VISA Gift Card that I tried to use, and it was rejected since they are not valid out of the USA.
Hey Christian I’ve been practicing this. As you know, in a harmonic scale the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th degrees are minor. Why in this song do the dominant 7th chords, using the major 3rd sound fine in the 2nd, 3rd and 6 th degrees. There is a D minor but also a D7 with an F# on the bottom. The ubiquitous 2/5 turnaround is one example. Any explanation would be appreciated.
Rolf Faile quickly: iE. The A7 is not the VI of C but for a moment the V of dm or even D7 which again is not the II but the passing V of G7. Of course G7 is not a real I , only by the root ( which in many cases is enough) , but at the same time the V of C. “Chain of dominants’
Christian Fuchs Thank you for that info and quick response. That helps! I don’t have to be so entrenched it what little theory I know. Love all your tutorials.🙂
Hey Christian, Have paypaled €4 to you with remark Claptons. Only later discovered that you have more offerings for Claptons songs. Hope you will sort out. Thanks sauliusle
