Rules of the Series (made simple!)
-------------------------------
1. To progress and level skills, I must complete the most recent unlock according to the Skill Guide.
2. I cannot complete a quest if the XP will cause me to skip a skilling unlock. (Levelling is OK from the Quest XP if I don't skip an unlock)
3. If there are multiple unlocks at one level, I must do as many as possible.
For Rule 1:
I can return to previously unlocked methods to train the skill to the next level once the new unlocks have been completed. E.g. 50 Smithing, I must smelt a Mithril Bar and smith a Mithril Dagger before I can level the skill to 51 using any previously unlocked Smithing method, like Smithing Steel Platebodies.
For previously skipped unlocks, instead of making the description 10 paragraphs long - I have made a google document containing the unlocks we've had to skip, why we skipped them at the time and what we need to do to obtain them :)

Free knowledge:
-To use Keldagrim brewery, you only need to *start* The Giant Dwarf. Starting has 0 requirements. The dwarf at the brewery in Keldagrim sells ale yeast for 25gp rather than needing ecto tokens, and a pot spawn is right next to him.
-When you forgot your farming tools, you had plenty of money on you! Almost all farmers in the game have dialogue options to sell you farming tools including spades, dibbers, rakes, plant cure, and even normal compost, at slightly more expensive prices (e.g. 30 gp compost)
I knew about the Farming supplies, I just forgot in the moment haha
I have started Giant Dwarf actually as I can get to Keldagrim, but when I try to enter the brewery "The Beast" stops me from going down there

@@FrankGlymesis it possible you were trying to go down into the rat pits? Brewery in kelda is upstairs not down and I don't think there's any special requirements to get in.... Not that it really matters at this point but now I'm just curious 😂
@@FrankGlymes The brewery is upstairs in the pub in Keldagrim! Downstairs is the rat pits :p
I’ve personally used it without completing any of the quests in Keldagrim so I know that’s not the limiting factor.
It's good that they let you bank in Port Phasmatys without the Ghostspeak Amulet. If they didn't, it would be so grim to tax you to go there and then have to pay again after retrieving the amulet.

Thank you again, honestly doesn't seem like much of a grind but I had tried several times to do some BA and teams were not happy to stick around for the full 10 or not happy to let me just heal in Wave 10 despite being a fine healer for the whole time.
Either way, you made it way easier, a true legend, now part of the Skill Guided lore forever!!!

Favorite moment so far has to be the first caviar pop off, so funny getting that excited about an item so mundane, but 100% merited because that grind was brutal xD GREAT episode! Look forward to the next adventures to come!

mmmm what a great episode!
I know it's not a huge difference but I greatly appreciate using in-game music instead of choosing songs to play over the video now, one of the things I always loved about RS music is that it's location-based. When you head on over to Falador you know you're gonna get some Falador jams but you don't know which one will play first!
Also, funny enough I remembered the "fake man" in the troll quest but had no idea what troll thistle was and even checked to see if they removed it by the time of RS3... but nope, I just forgot about it! Maybe I was too traumatized by the parrot.
If you forget something you need at a farming patch and have gold in your inventory, you can buy it from the farmer.
How gooooode! The best skill in game is free to progress again!!!

Seem pretty easy to make those alco chunks, just vodka soaked pineapple!
I'd say the Dad/Troll General fights took like 10 minutes +, it was pretty boring haha

When you dont have tools at the farming patch you can buy most things from the farmer that watches your crops
Just a mindblank I totally forgot that in the moment haha
you can buy farming supplies from gardeners at the farming patches i think so if next time it happens again but you have gp on you, you can just buy what youre missing
I always forget this even though people have said it a million times hahaha
Fyi is you need keldagrim in the future, I don't think you need to complete giant dwarf, just to do the first step with the boat ride

Oooh I like this as a goal, could be a wee bit difficult with not much combat XP available though.
How about some thieving to unlock Stone Chests down the line?
@@FrankGlymes i mean thats what I was thinking. You got 2 ways get talisman: Thieving and combat so you can switch between methods
Doing Thieving ties in with something that's pretty urgent.
Thieving currently needs me to go to Dorgesh-Kaan, so Death to the Dorgeshuun needs doing, which is also locking me out of Defence.
But it gives Ranged XP, so I need to get Adamant Thrown Weapons.
Have a plan to get them but it may be difficult, this might mean a lot more Mining/Smithing 💀

Yep -- the constant "peak time for aus/nz" maintanence is crap. They could easily shift it an hour or two later and it wouldn't be so bad, but nah, fuck us lol. We pay more for membership and get less time to play it.

It's fitting we get our other major tool unlock in tandem with the Rune Axe
So @lowkey1202 I didn't realise that Volcanic Mine needs 150 Kudos to start - this will take us a little while longer.
Additionally, it also requires building of the museum camp - this needs some construction unlocks to be finished first (or at least attempted - this Big Bass for 36 construction).
But it's completely on my radar now, we need to complete a few more unlocks to open up combat to get us the fossils we need
