just wanted to let you know that this is my favorite OSRS series on TH-cam :) it's so wholesome!! i watch it most nights before I fall asleep, making progress about 10 minutes at a time (given so many views by this point lol), and it's actually really helped me through a difficult period in my life, so thank you & please keep the series going all the way to the max cape!!

I'm gonna say that that slayer req is probably a hard requirement because the Abomination isn't the only boss in a Taste of Hope. Gotta test out the weapon this requires and I don't think the game has any other barrier on the slayer req besides the quest start because it doesn't want to jip you out of the second boss fight.

26:40 actually I remember back in the day essence used to be at least 50 coins each, which used to be a pretty sizeable cost considering how hard it was to make money back in 2006 and before. That's why they introduced pure essence: so that f2p players can't spam a bunch of lvl 1 accounts to mine stuff that's worth 50gp each.

Why not use ecto vial from ghost ahoy. Pretty sure that quest only gives prayer xp and items you need for it are all obtainable. Walking to morytania like this feels so slow lol

pro tip: you can store a thousand tools in your tool leprechaun. Then every time you forget to store your tools, you can simply use the replacement. Once you've actually done this enough times to empty your entire stack of tools, you can return them to the leprechaun using the noted items.

Aw I was ready for more "My Rek" pronunciations! But now that you've learned how to say it, the "key" (wink wink) is in the word Myre, as in Mort Myre. I don't know how you're supposed to guess that que is pronounced key though - it looks like "kay" if anything, but these are the same people who say it's "Ardoyn" and not Ardohn. Also, 27:03 - at some point OSRS listed nearly all the unlisted cutscene songs in the game for some reason, so there's a ton of stuff like Delrith's theme that now count in the track list despite never being naturally heard again... not a fan of that choice myself cuz it just clutters up the list, but I guess if anyone REALLY wants to listen to the ship travel theme on infinite loop, they're happy about it.
