And also as a p&c agent who should I be prospecting with auto shops? Who is my target market with p&c? I am very new to the industry sorry. Thanks
I wouldn’t recommend cold calling neighborhoods. I’d start calling all of your friends and family and then start marketing to specific neighborhoods so that they call you. Also you can connect with local real estate agents and loan officers who can refer you business. Maybe do door hangers or mailers to homeowners? As for the auto repair shops you can cold call those and try to get the owner/decision maker.
Yes do it! It sucks sometimes but you learn a lot and sometimes can get great leads/deals. I recommend picking specific types of homes/business you’d like to target so you’re not just doing it aimlessly. I used to door knock pet grooming shops because the owners were so nice 😂
