Maori commentators are crowing about Maori population reaching a million people for the first time ever.but the Maori party only got a handful of votes. That tells me that most Maori don’t agree with them.

And yet the "other majority" of the DNA is actively abased.
Hypocrites and racist expressions need to be consistent, and yet a fraction is now claimed as more valuable than the other 99% of the DNA.

It would be interesting to know how much lawyers have been paid when appearing before the Waitangi Tribunal. That figure would be over and above whatever was awarded in each of the Settlements so far signed off.
There are several major Settlements to ratify over the next year or two, but once they are completed, the Tribunals work will have been done and it can then be disbanded. A considerable saving to the long suffering taxpayer I would have thought!

Maori is one of the most successful indigenous people on the planet, after colonisation has destroyed many, the Maori really are fighters. You think they should bend over and take it? No way! Cause it would not end there. We ain't Chinese and a country is not a business for us to use, to get a head. Japanese have the best philosophy, this country needs a lot of education.
