Honestly after dunfields mess of a excavation, anything above 80ft can't be taken seriously due to dunfield excavation and bulldozing everything back in.
The swamp was a dry dock for their ships that needed repair . The road was a path to the supply buildings that stored materials and food supplies . The housing for the people doing the digging were located near the center of the island near the old dock or warf. They never explained where all the diggings went from all the tunnels. There is no treasure. Think logically. If people went to such lengths to bury treasure, wouldn’t they come back and get it? Also there is absolutely no evidence that there was ever anything buried.
a recent investigation determined that fourteen people have been documented to have died on the island since 1795. Of those 14, 7 have been treasure hunters so where is the darned treasure.
The picture that you showed you said Dan's Blankenship passed away in 2019 that was his son's picture that you showed the oldestr man that sitting at the table with the blue lips was the 95-year-old man. did you watch it

Some type of imaging showed what looked like a ship in the swamp. Why haven't they drained the swamp to see what kind of ship? Or have they done that and not shown it on the show?
I GOT ONE NO ONE KNOWS: Why do they have to state every persons full name and title every damn time they show up on the screen???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Heres my calculation--- chance that something was ever there 1/4 x chance that someone didnt already find it 1/3 x chance that Laginas will hit the right spot 1/2 = 1/24 chance that they will find treasure in money pit. .......... These are just my estimates, they are sucked out of the air based on what i think are realistic, so i invite anyone else to share their views or odds.
why woud anyone bury something so far down to where they'd never be able to retrieve it again?! & if they just wanted to destroy it by burying it, why wouldn't they just burn it? The whole premise to the show in nonsensical!
The way I've always heard this, it was pirate treasure, and was placed deep in the sand to make it difficult to retrieve; .. parties witnessing, doing the burial. Seems they somewhat overdid it, and maybe tides, sea level was somewhat lower then, Greenland, Arctic ice, etc. Best i remember, thought it was believed to be Capt. Kidd, who was hanged in England, precluding his return. Teddy Roosevelt also dropped a pretty penny in attempts.
Presumably the people/association that buried the treasure would know how to get around the booby traps and retrieve the treasure. Perhaps those people died in battle.
@@craigholden564 No sir. It definitely was Teddy Roosevelt. Sea levels may have been lower in the 1700s. Obviously no one would knowingly bury something beyond their later reach. Roosevelt was known to be tight with a buck, ( please see his Dakota ranching operation ) and must have felt he was excavating on ' good ' information. He tried several times before he gave up, the seawater soaked shaft kept caving in on them. A treasure of Capt. Kidds' is what I recall all these years, .. and not that of Capt. Blackbeard, who died in that part of the world in a shoot out with the British Navy. But i could be wrong about Kidd.
Talk about a money pit on Oak Island.... This TV show is a money pit. You pour vast amount of money with all kinds of digging equipment for many years and all you find is some old timber and relics. How much longer can this show go on. On the other hand there is "The Mystery of Skin Walker Ranch". Now that's going somewhere. If buried treasure has been in the ground for 200 years and our technology of the 21st century can't dig it up there is something wrong. Maybe we should go back in time and find out what techniques they were using. It's obvious what they are doing is not working.
I never miss a show! However, your title was so misleading. Like fans didnt know something about the show! You told nothing that hasn't been aired all ready!
What the viewers don't know is it is all a load of crap if it were actually in An area that small with all the money that has been spent they could have had it professionally excavated.
How about the time they hired the guy who was going to install the water filled cofferdam that he clearly didn't know what he was doing or how to do so and ended up getting a hole in the big water-filled cofferdam and that was all you seen about that next thing you know they were installing a big metal cofferdam.
they put all that money into looking for treasure and from what i see they will find some rusted junk here and there and maybe a button but i do like watching the show
I originally watched this show because the Laginas are from Michigan where I live. It started out interestingly enough but slowly started to fizzle out. After finding the lead cross and à few coins 🪙, all they come up with are ox 🐃 shoes 👞 and wood 🪵. I feel that anything worth anything was retrieved by whoever hid it in the 1️⃣st place. Not sure if I am going to watch 👀 the next season.
Have you noticed that they spend a great majority of the show re-hashing old information. They go over and over about old episodes just to fill each episode. If you've seen one ox shoe you've seen them all.
The curse of Oak Island is the annoying little English bloke, who continually proclaims 'Ooh, look at this. This is it. It's probably viking'. But it never is.
I think this is fake and the things they find were planted. I also saw the man Gary put a found coin in his pocket. Right by a buckel or something and he only gave that piece to Rick at dinner only.
What I know is this is the ultimate con. Someone told someone else they knew were "Something". For just a few $$$$ they would sell them a map to the location of the "something". The seller was to old to continue to go after the "something" and wants to retire and go someplace "Else". This story is the base, this story continues.
I agree. Remember last season, water from the money pit showed high concentrations of gold and silver. When they dug down they found nothing but some timber. I think the whole thing is a fake.
I wouldn't call it à scam exactly. But it is disappointing to say the least. At 1️⃣st it was very interesting especially when the lead cross was found. But lately, all they find are pièces of wood. Boring❗ So I haven't watched the last few episodes of the last season.
The one other things fans don't know is thtat THERE. IS. NO. CURSE. Just like the so-called "Curse of King Tut," it's a fantasy made up to get suckers to watch.
WEAR IS DAVE BLANKINSHIP NOW? I KNOW HE LIVES ON THE ISLAND WITH HIS WIFE BUT YOU NEVER SEE HIM ON THE SHOW ANY MORE. SO JUST A QUESSTON WEAR IS DAVE, NOT DAN, WE KNOW DAN HAS PASSED BUT WEAR IS DAVE PLEASE. MY FAMILY HAS BEEN WATCHING THE THE SHOW FOR 8 YEARS NOW AND WE MISS NOT SEEING DAVE?

They DO have professional archaeologists present on their digs. You apparently don’t watch the show either.
A ship is thought to be buried in the swamp, not the money pit.
Dan Blakenship died, not his son Dave.
I reckon it's called the money pit beause they keep throwing money at it but don't find anything.
Do you know how big a ship would be lol
Dave might be interested to hear that he is reported to be dead.
It was Dan Blankenship who died age 95 not Dave, his son
dave did not die, dan, his 95 yr old father did.
Bad facts.....for example Dan passed away, Dave is the son, still alive. There's other ones.....who is this guy?
why woud anyone bury something so far down to where they'd never be able to retrieve it again?!
@@evancoker194 I could be mistaken, but I think it was Franklin Roosevelt?
You pour vast amount of money with all kinds of digging
equipment for many years and all you find is some old timber and relics.
Fact their is no treasure or curse on that island. Unless the pirates had bigg diggers and a world of time to bury something.
I never miss a show! However, your title was so misleading. Like fans didnt know something about the show! You told nothing that hasn't been aired all ready!
Again your accuracy is questionable. The photo of Mr. Blankenship is incorrect. That is his son.
LoL
Front gardens
Mat Chisholm isn’t dead hahaha, still Alive and living in his home country of New Zealand hahahagaha
It is not "copper" dam but cofferdam
Thank you I fixed that mistake!
How could you get so much wrong in such a short time
Lots of errors in the introduction alone…
they put all that money into looking for treasure and from what i see they will find some rusted junk here and there and maybe a button but i do like watching the show
I originally watched this show because the Laginas are from Michigan where I live.
@@driech1 I certainly have noticed that. Another reason to possibly not watch it next season.
The broke gray bearded brother is wasting all his rich brother’s fortune. So selfish!
... and the next and the next
Never trust the 2 brothers
The curse of Oak Island is the annoying little English bloke, who continually proclaims 'Ooh, look at this. This is it. It's probably viking'. But it never is.
I think this is fake and the things they find were planted. I also saw the man Gary put a found coin in his pocket. Right by a buckel or something and he only gave that piece to Rick at dinner only.
I know one thing the course is on them so much time and money spend just to find pieces of wood nails and old shoes it is and endless soap opera
Dan died not Dave...
Dan Blankenship died, not Dave.
Creedy robbers
Stupid way to lose money. Go to the Bahamas and look for shipwrecks.
Love the show but it's dragging on way to long and I'm quickly losing intrest. Like watching the search for Bigfoot.
This is a scam.
All bs
His health prevents him from working
I thought I read that he retired from actively pursuing the hunt, and he and his wife are very happy to be enjoying their later years
He was not happy about they treated the legacy of his dad and dropped out.
The show about nothing
I'd rather watch Seinfeld.
There’s a simple solution. Don’t watch it.
