I find it interesting that the 175 lb stone was lifted out, perhaps with winch and pulley system? And then the next day the shaft flooded. Was it because of the coconut fibers were then exposed, by lifting that stone out? But that doesn't sound right, because of no water being from above at that time?
Really, liked your synopsis. Perfect for those who miss an episode. A book after the final show and video synopsis of the entire history would be perfect. Who knows they might just buy it.
Personally I heard a story about Spanish galleon class ship badly damaged in poor weather conditions landed on a small tip of an small isla milgrossito.the galleon laid hole on lower keel.yet the crew did what could for the vessel. But it's was noted that part of the isla was cyrstaline and fiero Iron pyrite.fools gold but close enough get puro plata.
You get a thumbs up from me....I love the Oak Island show, and look forward to it every season....I have a big question for you, maybe you will know...Last season after they cleared and cleaned up "Smith's Cove", they had that young guy come in with that big metal detector, and he placed flags in areas where he got a hit...Rick came down and was talking to him about the places of interest and was told one spot had a massive hit......my question is to you if you know, what ever became of that,...I don't remember them ever digging there to search for the target.....maybe I just missed it, or maybe they forgot about it.....I am just curious.
That's a great question. If memory serves, they never explicitly had a follow-up on that GPR scan in the show, although they drilled in the same general area in S7E3 and found evidence of a dynamiting operation carried out by the Oak Island Treasure Company back in 1897.
@@HammersonPeters....thanks for the feed back....yeah that just sticks in my mind because I remember him telling Rick that it was a large hit, and metal of some kind. I honestly wish I was working there with them....just to be part of the discovery to come.....those guys are going to change history forever...more so than they have done so far.....I really appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts...thank you
Other's opinions findings assumption's and theories quite often get pushed to the side, and often forgotten and never pursued, very discouraging! though I realize there's alot going on in working other area's even though sometimes even those seem less important than checking into other ones, but time restraints, man hours and equipment also plays a big part with all going on!
I am confident I know where the Oak island treasure is, if you would like to know I can share my map. I tried to share with the oak island team and they weren't interested.
I am going to say they don't find the stone. If you go to google earth you can see that they scraped all the top soil off the whole back yard. not just around the bush
I believe I heard Rick say something to the effect that they would do some new landscaping in the back yard as a sort of payment for allowing them to dig up part of it so maybe what you see on google maps is the rest of the landscaping job. I will go back and watch that part again to listen again.
7 years and untold millions spent.... and still no treasure . Too much invested to walk away ?? Or just a money maker for the network?? Not to mention the damage to the islands environment......
Well the only treasure to be found is the money the show makes for the owners like to know just how much they have profited off this. Now the show goes on with other treasure hunter such as civil war and more. They really hit the jack pot just like Gold rush. Must be nice!
Thank you for these great summaries Hammerson! I look forward each week to these.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoy them.
I like the way you boil it down to the facts without the drama of...”one more will have to die before the island gives up its treasure.😂”
I guess the "one more" is someone watching the History Channel who dies of boredom.

David Ashenbrener That would have to be Marty
your episode summaries are extraordinarily well done. thank you.
I'm glad you think so! Thanks for watching.
I agree, to the point without much speculation. I’ve now downloaded the “Encyclopaedia” too. Interesting read 🤗

Subbed! I like the way you break it down. I watch the show, been a fan of the mystery forever.

They had some mining experiences and sunk a 200 foot shaft. The ore was taken to spain. But had a small amount of pure platium.

Best Channel I found so far on the Oak Island topic..... I kind of like your channel better than the show to be honest
Thanks for watching, and for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my videos.
It seems that looking for that stone is a distraction or busy work for the a TV show

The pit only fills when the tide comes in so ther openings must be above low tide...
@Bantham Nobilis that's a theory..it still has to be proved
Enjoyed the summary. Keep up the good work. And thank you.

Does anyone else think the inscription on the stone is not L N, but an L IV equaling 54, or is that just me?

Could it be under 11 minutes? Not quite, but close! Cue the dramatic music. It’s under 12. Close to being a top pocket bauble.
What season a E, are they on the TV, thxs for the info
They're currently airing Season 7. I talk about the latest videos here on my channel.
I bought the mineral lease on the island.

Very interesting.
I believe google earth photos are not real-time. If you actually did see that, I would be amazed...

Sean Penny Yes, Rick said something to the effect that they would do some landscaping after the search and leave it looking much better.
There has to be somthing there why would all that be there ? 300 years ago nobody is going to dig and support a deep shafts like that for nothing
Only treasure on this Island is the Lagina's bank account!
I like these updates. But miss the sarcastic ones of old.
Thanks for watching!
Not only is the treasure is lowering, but all the clues themselves found are interesting
Well done

this was very good.
Thank you for saying so!

I don’t believe the inscriptions worked out
They worked out for that guy who raised money from it.

The islands already been totally bent over and fucked
Too late for that
Rick n martys way not give there money to the taxman dig another hole
I thought this was s7 ep6?
No, that's this one: th-cam.com/video/epNdS15prk4/w-d-xo.html
Surely they should know where it is given all the drilling
Big holes full of wood that’s all that have been found.... What a load of tosh and time
