The FAA requires 30 min of extra fuel (battery in this case) when you land your aircraft in the day and 45min at night. So with this only having 40min of flight time you can't fly at night and can only legally fly it for 10 minutes at a time in the day........good luck getting buyers/investor's.
Yes, this surely holds them back, all EVTOL brands. But I see certification adjustment in other countries like China or UAE for air-taxi EVTOLS. Probably, FAA will need to come up with some special EVTOL license.
Expensive for now but the future is around the corner. These will become as commonplace as airplanes did in the early 20th century. They said the airplane will never fly. It did. Here we are. The next phase
40mi max IN A PLANE is a bit disturbing. The H1-X actually needs an EV/ICE hybrid power system, given the weather isn't going to be perfect all the time (ie/eg) wind, rain and/or snow will severly reduce the 40mi max range.
There in lies part of the problem, the current model is going to be limited to a very, very, very niche market a/k/a the general public is not going be buying these & commuting, let alone running errands with them. Don’t get me wrong “if” Doroni can actually pull this off & sell a couple 100/1000 as backyard adult toys, to those that can afford them, hopefully Doroni will focus on offering “taxi-cab” models that can shuttle 4+ people between key points, in crowded cities ❤
If you don't know what the horizontal propellers are how can we rely on the rest of the info in your video?

It failed to address emergency safety like eVTOL malfunction in midair.
BRS aerospace ballistic recovery parachute system with a slider takes care of emergencies in the air.
They mentioned an ballistic recovery parachute with a slider or the BRS Aerospace to take care of in-flight in the air emergencies.

Cars used for taxis are also expensive yet everyone can use them

Two different models?
Yes, the older one is a concept and the H1-X (the cooler looking one) is the one people can buy. Unfortunately, too little footage now available.
@@technicalevo too little footage and fake too
220 kg of payload is not enough for us here in America. I weigh more than that. 😂
Can't tell if you're joking or not 😂
Eat right and exercise.

Yes.... But if the sole purpose is a convenient commute, it's sufficient.
