Hey, yes it definately is better if you have Retrologue although you can use a free synth called the Tyrell N6 but it won't be as easy to follow along

I presume you are referring to the synthesiser I use called Retrologue. It is only available in Cubase 'Artist' & above although you can buy it separately from Steinberg. There is also a free synth that you can use instead of Retrologue which I talk about and show in this video th-cam.com/video/Ul7yv8KAM0k/w-d-xo.html which is about as close to Retrologue as you can get without spending money :)
