Definitely one of the most underrated. But toe-to-toe with Mike??? Nah, I can't go there. Drazen was as lethal of a scoring guard as there was back then but he wasn't in MJ's class. There's levels to this. There was Mike and then there was everyone else. Drazen is definitely in that next tier with guys like Drexler. And this is coming from a guy that HATED Jordan coming up in the 90s.

I was a big Nets fan as a kid and was pretty much resigned to the fact we'd always be a bad team. Then Drazen showed up and changed the organization, fans had hope, fans thought we could win. I was about 13 when Drazen died and I can't tell you how upsetting it was. :O( R.I.P. Drazen you were a hero to many a kid.

Rick Adelman did him dirty in Portland. He couldn't comprehend the greatness of Drazen Petrovic. He had, admittedly, been the best shooter in the history of the game, and he benched him all the time. Instead, he had Porter, an average role-player. Such a shame! That could've been a champion team!
I watched him in the matches in Europe and he was sensational. He could decide not only a game but also a championship for the club team, as well as for the national team.

Nowitzki was NBA champion, 13x all star, Giannis is MVP, Parker and Gasol NBA champions, also Pedja Stojakvic and Kukoc etc..the young Luka Doncic European Champion with Slovenia and Real Madrid, multiple european MVP, ROTY in NBA, All Star Starter NBA, MVP candidate NBA, 3rd Player that averaged a tripble double a whole Month(30/10/10) Nov 2019, he leads the NBA in trible doubles etc etc.. Luka won with 21 years much more awards and broked records than Drazen with 27.

Quanti rimpianti, che tristezza il non aver potuto dimostrare pienamente tutto il suo talento. E' stato l'apripista per tutti gli europei che volevano confrontarsi con gli inarrivabili americani, il primo a dimostrare che si poteva confrontarsi con loro, a casa loro e al loro livello.

Posiblemente hubiese sido el mejor jugador de toda la historia del baloncesto , incluso superando a Michael jordan. Su manejo de balon ,precision en el tiro , caracter , liderazgo etc etc, nos dejo con las ganas de poder demostrar lo que hubiese conseguido en la NBA.

Rick Adelman did him dirty in Portland. He couldn't comprehend the greatness of Drazen Petrovic. He had, admittedly, been the best shooter in the history of the game, and he benched him all the time. Instead, he had Porter, an average role-player. Such a shame! That could've been a champion team!
I watched him in the matches in Europe and he was sensational. He could decide not only a game but also a championship for the club team, as well as for the national team.
