Ronaldinho is known in Brazil for being extremely humble, visiting Arab royalty wearing flip flops, and being a master at evading taxes. A true national hero.
Idk what wearing flip flops to meet royalty has to do with being humble. Dressing well and respecting the meeting would have been more humble then not bothering to put on proper shoes…
@@sparks6177 it has the same correlation as evading taxes, none. I just numbered three of his characteristics, not that being humble correlates with the others. And yeah, he's a freaking boss for keeping it real instead of obeying silly etiquette rules. That's Ronaldinho in a nutshell.
@@pabrodi if that really happened there's a difference to being simple when you invite someone to your home, than if you got invited by royalty. Unlike any other player I've seen, he just seemed to instictively know how to use any part of his body control the ball, and no other players have ever attempted half of these. The crossbar rebounds were amazing. Maybe there were 1 or 2 elements of bad sportsmanship with keepers but they were all fair in a way.
Crossbar video isn't real. The creativity and intelligence is though. The type of guy to expose the referee for knowing less about the game than him. Good thing the refs didn't let him get away with harassing the keeper in the scenes in the video though, this already gave enough inspiration to kids kicking goalkeepers and fouling them. Ronaldo is another story though, I think we went through depression and had some medical issues which made him fat, it was probably harder for him to keep it going because of that. I remember people saying Ronaldinho wasn't a great player because he didn't score many goal, but people tend to forget how many decisive pass he did from nowhere, because he wasn't a goal scorer, he wasn't even an attacker, he was more of a an agressive midfielder/left winger than a goal scorer, and people also keep forgetting how Ronaldinho enabled Messi during its beginning, actinf like a mentor with him, and always trying to deserve him the best goal opportunities.

His juggling with closed eyes and hitting the cross bar was just mind-blowing! I think no one else even have come close to him in terms of the level of skills, specially ball control. It's sad we haven't such a selfless pure talent playing anymore.
The only amazing thing about the crossbar clip was the editing. It’s fake. But it was the first TH-cam video to hit a million views, so that’s neat.

He prob wouldn't be as good as he was.
Imagine if he wasn't constantly taken out and had his knees destroyed by opponents who knew the only way to get the ball from him was to foul him
GamePort I’m gonna have to disagree with u, he was amazing because he was so chilled most of the time, and only played for fun which made him confident on the field which resulted him to be one of the best players of all Time
He always looks like he's having a blast. Even when he doesn't score. Everyone else looks like they're trying.
