I'm happy someone compiled this video to show people that Rodman was able to score when necessary... young cats today will say, "Rodman wasn't a shooter"... well, take a look at this video
Toni Kukoc took his licks from Jordan and Pippen in Barcelona. He proved that he was tough, stoic, and had ice in the veins. Great recruiting by Chicago at that time, because Kukoc is a champion. The Waiter. Legend.
Dennis not only played well with Toni, but also had some great plays with Brian Williams. It felt like they played for a decade together. The passes were so crisp.
@@DrKub007 PIPPEN LED BULLS IN MORE STATS THAN JORDAN. ITS OK U R BLIND. NOW SHOW ME JORDAN 2ND ROUND IN HIS CAREER ??? PIPPEN 19 WINS IN PLAYOFF , JORDAN 1 GAME WON.
Kukoc's handles and passes are so sweet you would never know he is 6'11". And Rodman just a fantastic team player, it's great that Toni actually passed him the ball
Dennis was an underrated distributor and while not a great shooter was more than reliable to get that put backs and layups in. Kukoc was just great. Underappreciated as their 6th man.
This is like after you watch a movie and you really want a sequel based on characters other than the main ones... I want to watch these fun plays all day long! This is hilariously like a Rodman scoring reel, but it was really just game intelligence to take advantage of most teams ignoring Rodman on that side of the court.
What surprised me is how quick Rodman is, both in reflex moves and running across the lane. His MO is as a mugger, but obviously, he had far more game than that. Oh, by the way, I'm a Piston fan.
Once croatian reporters came to Chicago and asked Tony, how is he getting along with Rodman. Tony said that he went one time out partying with him, and took him week to recover.. He said let's just leave it at that..
This was so cool like you had Mike and Pippen on the bench or somewhere, and the match had rythm. All of a sudden there were those combiations of they other bulls that went nuts and that team was just amazing for that.
Man, Rodman was better than people think on offense. I think he could have probably averaged 15-17 PPG if he really wanted. But all he wanted to do was play D and rebound.
This video shows that Dennis also has a soft touch around the basket. This means that he can score if he really wanted to. He just have a very high basketball IQ choosing the better chance to score by protecting the ball and passing to the team's scorers instead.
Low key super team built of solid international players. This is the Spurs before the Spurs. Timmy was perfect because he was squeaky clean and these dogs from over seas could ball
Jokic pass to next player while Kukoc fakes on, sends two other in other direction and then throws a no look bullet pass to a free man for a dunk...both are scored as 1 assist
And yet, there is still a lot of "experts" across the YouToube and rest of the internet who are saying how Toni Kukoc didn't contribute enough and have done nothing much for and in NBA to deserve that Hall of fame entrance.
The Waiter delivers! Highlights like this would lead you to think Rodman was some sort scoring machine, when that was an aspect of the game he mostly left to other players.
The video is probably mainly shot after the game is decided, so the players are relaxed to some extent, and the members, especially MJ and Pip, are almost completely absent. The other team is also going out of their way to double-team Kukoc in front of the goal instead of putting a defender on Rodman, who has less of a scoring mindset. Kukoc is also a good passer, and Rodman knows this, so he passes the ball and scores when the pass comes in. I don't think the two are particularly close, but they may have been able to understand each other because they were different from each other in the Bulls and the NBA at the time.

Two players that understood one and the most important thing in team sports. TEAMPLAY. The thing that most of today NBA stars just don't understand and never will, just because of the current system they go through in the USA. Europeans are a different story.
era when players cared more about playing than paycheck, their image, social media or politics - and it is very obvious in the way they played this is not to say that skill level today isn't higher, but there was heart in the team and the game, nowdays it looks nothing like it
Whether you like them or not, the 90's Bulls were one of the best, if not the best team in history. They were much more than MJ and Pippen (that's why even the year after Jordan retired, they came within one game of the finals again). Their ball movement was as good as the 80's Celtics and Lakers. They made so few mistakes, I never checked the stats but I bet they were probably the team with the fewest turnovers. And of course, kudos to Phil Jackson and Tex Winter for creating the most unstoppable offensive system. They would probably go 82-0 in today's kindergarten NBA.
yeah most of those 6 seasons they had lowlow turnovers. led league a couple of times. These Bulls teams were not all MJ and Scottie. First run, John Paxson was unsung hero. Hardly ever turned it over and was automatic with the threes. Tony and Rodman. team sport played by a team
More proof that MJ didn’t hog the ball. I grew up watching the bulls so when I hear people talk about MJ and the bulls but they haven’t even seen him play games in real time, “it’s like why is this person hating on MJ”. Also, Tony was the man and it’s good to reflect on the bulls solid depth. Especially after the sit out by pip. Go Bulls!

Smart. Nobody expected a passes to go to Rodman, especially with as many offensive threats as the Bulls had on the floor.
The bromance that never dies!
Kukoc's handles and passes are so sweet you would never know he is 6'11". And Rodman just a fantastic team player, it's great that Toni actually passed him the ball
you are right about Toni passes & handles... but he has a high IQ and he is really 6-9 ½ (2,07m)
5:55 Rodman's 1st bucket as a Chicago Bull comes with beautiful assist from Toni !!
Dennis was an underrated distributor and while not a great shooter was more than reliable to get that put backs and layups in. Kukoc was just great. Underappreciated as their 6th man.
What great chemistry Tony and Dennis had! Peoe talk about the duo of Michael & Scottie however, clearly Dennis & Tony were grossly underrated!
Good example of guys, not immediate superstars...who are gelling on the court due to mutual respect and ability...big up
Dennis Rodman was a superstar. He was box office on and off the court.

There was something extra special about seeing Rodman score. A bit like a pitcher hitting a home run, or a goalie getting a goal.
Rodman is the GOAT!
Just wow, talk about two team mates in synch. Legendary.
