Such a great teacher. I learned about rear delt training from his videos and use his routines every week for shoulders. May he Rest In Peace, his memory and generosity live on ❤
I’ve been using John’s shoulder workouts for years now and they always smoke my delts. Starting with high rep rear delt flys really get blood moving and warmed up. It’s crazy how strong the rear delts are. Even after the burn sets in, you can’t still push another 10 reps out of you have the weight dialed. I usually go for 15-25 reps. 20-25 ideally. Even in death, John is still the goat of trainers. Right there with Hany Rambod imo.
I’ve learnt so much from John over the years. Being in my mid thirties now he really helped me focus on health and longevity while still lifting good weight. I’ll forever watch John like he never left us.
I found john after he had passed but holy wow thank you so much for keeping the content flowing!! He seems so genuine and truly just loved helping people.
Pure gold as always i incorporated those tips into all my shoulder workouts and i got amazing results Thank you for keeping this channel alive i will continue watching and supporting this channel. John we miss you brother. 😢❤🙏
This is a somewhat newfound channel for me, so I've been playing a lot of catch up. I feel like a lot of things you're saying that I've found on my own over the years working in the gym. It's nice to know that someone else out there is validating it; especially from the old school. Thanks MD!
I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a website and a yt channel, and I'm sorry John is gone, but I'm tired of having feeds full of shorts, I wish you luck, but it's time we parted ways. Good Luck to you and yours.
Like other contributors have commented many thanks for keeping the channel uploading John’s videos he is so relevant to us and long May it continue. Very best wishes and love to John’s family. Jim Harrison. Chester Cheshire. UK.
Been doing this and the partial rep Side laterals and it’s grown my felts MASSIVELY in just a year! And I’m a natural dood with prior shoulder injuries
John wil allways be missed.... These videos make us feel less alone around weights... John was one of the greatest persons and a true model to never give up... Bless you al out there 🙏💪
always love his advices for shoulders, they're the best, I follow his suggestions religiously, my delts have grown so big, they're my greatest assets. I used to have small tiny shoulders, and now I see guys staring at my shoulders
Always miss John, great content as always. These are all great, especially the first one. If you’re new or have been out of training for awhile, you will feel a bit of burn in your tricep as well.
Huge thanks to whoever kept this channel alive! John was a great teacher of all the knowledge he had & i learned a lot from his discussions. Most importantly, he inspired me to start my own channel to help others! God bless!
Such an incredible source of all round bodybuilding info, this channel is a must. John has certainly left a large hole in bodybuilding since his passing, rest in peace mate!
Thank you for this Chanel, he was a great bodybuilder ! I watch all his videos and follow his instructions. For me, he is still the best in workout guidance.
Those side lateral raises on the seated row are my favorite way to do side lateral raises. Picked them up from Meadows on the full length video. Less stress on joints, easier to go to failure, greater stimulus than doing the one arm at a time standing and leaning, and constant tension throughout the movement.
My brother just told me about your channel yesterday and then you popped up on my feed today, thanks for the tips I’ll def be checking out more videos! 💪🏼
Those lying lateral raises are a game changer! I had issues keeping my traps disengaged but laying down takes them right out of it! Used it my last 2 shoulder workouts and they've been the best ever by far.
Man, what a great teacher I tried this workout today , exactly as he said and really smoked the shoulders ! Starting with rear delts and burning them out is a great idea ! Thank you RIP
👍 I never thought to try heavier partials for side laterals. In fact I quit my normal ones when I start getting only the partial range of motion. Thanks!
every video of his that I watch I feel like I actually learn something new that I can apply to my training. Its not like that with most fitness Influencers
Hello, thank you very much for all your good advice. I just wanted to mention here that the partials for side delts always injurs my left shoulder and my right one , is it just me ? It seems to be quite a dangerous exercise, sorry
thanks for keeping this channel alive, i still watch all of johns videos almost on a daily basis, during cardio.
Long live John
How and when did he pass away?
@@jasonchamberlain44592 years ago maybe, heart attack I think.
@@jasonchamberlain4459 last year i believe. From pulmonary embolism. Basically a bloodclot in his lungs
@-N I C K- Sadly he passed away August 2021 time goes too fast 😳
We are so lucky that John lived in a time when his knowledge and passion could be immortalised on screen for future generations of lifters.
Well said

I was actually just thinking about John Meadows the other day - I was using this diagonal cable move for delts I learned from him.
Those lying lateral raises are a game changer! I had issues keeping my traps disengaged but laying down takes them right out of it! Used it my last 2 shoulder workouts and they've been the best ever by far.
