@DonLeo his family is well off from his business and his successful career … there is still lots of knowledge to be put out there .. his wife could care less about the money .. he is one of the most knowledgeable people in this industry
Many thanks to John’s family to keep posting his wonderful knowledge, kindness 🙏🏻 It helps people not only in US but all over the world like myself from France. Take care 🙏🏻
Even the way he never wanted to make people feel like their way of doing an exercise was wrong or bad, even though there are much better or safer ways of doing it...just a really great person and a true role model.
I take every word spoken by John in this video with the same value as one might put to a precious metal. I pray the day never comes when I can't look on TH-cam to one of my favorite mentors in the fitness industry and there isn't a new video. Thank you to the people that still make this channel possible in his absence and the family and friends of his are always in my thoughts.
Agreed. His knowledge is invaluable, and no one explains it better. I dread the day the video’s stop. Even though we’ll always have his older videos to look back to, he’s just such a likeable guy and mentor to the entire community, and that’s what I think we’ll miss the most. RIP big fella, and much love to his friends and family.
Great to see the yoyo trick in there too! Thanks Alexander! Miss you John, and thanks to whoever is looking after his videos to keep him teaching and us learning.
I feel like John Meadows was the Bob Ross of weightlifting. Just a real chill discussion of his experiences and sharing of his knowledge. Plus sometimes a bonus yo-yo segment! Whoever is maintaining the channel - thank you. There is immeasurable value in preserving Mr. Meadows work and keeping it accessible.
This is the best most kindest guy I ever seen in bodybuilding, so great at showing how to do proper exercises. Thanks for all your brilliant advices 😘❤️🙏🏻🌟🥇
I miss John everyday. I learned more than nutrition & training from John. His posts really helped and still helping my Bipolar. Really showed me I can be successful without a college degree
many thanks to johns family for keeping johns channel going, John's knowledge was remarkable one of the best online and offline coaches that's ever been and ever will be
Thanks for playing John”s videos. He is the top hypertrophy instructor. I used to listen to every Heavy Muscle Radio Show before I ever saw what Mr Meadows even looked like. His search for truth through the current scientific research was a magnet to me. Needless to say, when I stumbled across him on TH-cam, I was astounded by his muscularity. If there were a most muscular award in contests, he certainly would have won every one of them. May God Bless his soul, and may his family find peace and forgiveness for the sacrifices he made in attaining greatness
Thanks for reposting this classic again. I loved this series when he did all the body parts. I don’t know how to get in touch with Marry and the boys but please send them love from North Carolina ❤️
Thank you John and thank you to his family for keeping this channel active. I have used his guidance and advice for training and he is just a joy to learn from! This right here keeps him alive for all of us. RIP Mountain Dog. Until Valhalla.
John will truly be missed. I agree, keep his videos going he was one of the most genuine body builders who I know.John will truly be missed. I agree, keep his videos going he was one of the most genuine Body builders.
Really lookforward to seeing John on these videos still. He really is a treasure, and one of our most valuble and important guides in the industry. Definetly on the mount Rushmore (a T-shirt should be made). Thank you to John for what you have done and thank you to his family. Greatness
I'll always start with a pushdown, then dip, then skullcrushers. Learnt this a while ago from you John. Thank you. I know this has saved my elbows over the years.
It’s so surreal to watch a video knowing the person is gone but still listening and learning. It’s like the person is right there on the screen but actually gone through time
Very grateful 🙏 for the continued support and knowledge transfer to all of us......thankful for all the good videos you guys keep bringing to me!! God bless
God what a wealth of knowledge this man was and still is. Awesome, awesome advice I learn smthg everytime I watch his videos, even when I watch them 2-3 diff times
Sometimes training can be confusing. It's not always just lift the weight. The way John explains technique and execution is on point and very simplified for those that want to have a better understanding. Even with his very unfortunate passing these videos will always help the bodybuilding community in bettering themselves in physique and how a man should conduct himself. Can't help but get the vibe John was an outstanding human being. What a down to earth, easy going guy who loved his art. It's refreshing to see that there are good people in this world and especially in this sport. I hope his family are doing ok 🙏
30 years of training here every week barring injury time ,, 30 years training listening to john who passed away and im still learning some tips specifically the pin loaded for partial triceps reps ,,,i agree john i always found close drip bench low always fired the chest so much that i never really got onto them ...so ill give the partial pin load a try ...never stop striving keep on training im 55 and have no thoughts of stopping ...5% for life ... cheers john see you on the other side mate one day
I do reverse grip push-down singles, because I have a bad wrist, and my body compensates by flaring my elbow out when doing pronated extensions. Doing reverse grip makes it much easier to control the flare. But as John stated, not much weight. I've learned so much from this man, the fitness world has a void in it that can't be filled.
I have learnt so much from you, very sad you’re no longer with us but thank you for the videos and advice and who ever is continuing to upload videos please continue
I am just finding out about John Meadows passing.. I am completely shocked and saddened.. I had no idea he had passed away.. my condolences to the family

John was such a loving father to keep his son in his videos doing yoyo tricks. We miss you John!!!
That took me by surprise, though. At first I was thinking it was a joke about tearing up your shoulder, had to rewind it.

Why will he be missed: watch 1:35 and just how nice he was correcting form. No ego. No tough guy act. A true mentor and good dude.

I remember now how perfectly he managed injury prevention with hard work. Most trainers can do one or the other but not both.
Man he's still teaching me things I had no idea I was doing wrong. I had no idea about the spongey grip for triceps. It works.
