I had my Lasik 4 days back and I had been trying to find a feedback video on when normally one gets to see property coz my vision keeps varying and this all had got me confused on whether I have been treated right or what.....thanks so much,ur video answered all my queries.
Hi Gina, I wanted to ask you a couple questions about your experience with LASEK. I had my procedure done 18 days ago at a surgical center in Florida. From this time in the recovery process, what was your experience compared to mine on the following subjects: 1. Clarity: my right eye seems to be pretty clear but my left eye has this constant haziness. It's not crisp. 2. Night vision: my vision at night, low light, is really bad. It's extremely blurry and can almost be jarring. Lights have a very large bloom. 3. Reading on electronic devices: I've noticed that black text on white backgrounds is hardest to see. The effect is similar to all the text having a shadoe
Sorry to just to add... 4. Visual improvement: after getting the contacts removed my eyesight was awful for a couple days. It then became much clearer. However, over the past week I have seen little to no change in either left or right eye.
Same problem here brother 10 th day ...left one hazy ...right one great ......both have glares and halos ...low light haziness ....sensitive starblusts ..but right one still seems far better ...though my left eye had higher myopia ...doc says it will take time to recover ...bt no improvements whatsoever
I chose LASEK because your eye completely heals afterward. With LASIK you have a flap and there is a chance it can come undone if you get in an accident, etc.
Sometimes you don’t get a choice. When I went for my consultation I didn’t have the choice to get LASIK because my corneas are thin. Because of this I was only eligible for Lasek
Thank you for this video! I went to enquire at a company here in the UK about lazer surgery and after some tests they said I could only get lasek rather than lazik because the cornea in my eye isn't thick enough for Lasik or something like that. So I wanted to see just how bad was lazek exactly and I found your video. Suffering for a month makes me ask if it's worth it really or just stick to wearing glasses? Would you say it's worth it?
Wow I must be really lucky! had mine done 4 days ago in the uk, Day 1 was cloudy vision but upon sleep and rest I woke up to crystal clear vision with no light sensitivity at all! I have some slight bruising on my right eye and some very minor discomfort! The mornings upon waking are the worst times as eyes are dry but nothing major! Today my left eye is a little blurry. Had it done Sat back to work Tuesday, Taking drops and no issues at all just fantastic sight. Sorry yours seemed so bad.
I think you are insanely lucky. You must be one of the lucky ones indeed. My recovery wasn't so bad. Did you do LASIK or LASEK? Lasik has a very minimal recovery time as compared to LASEK.
Hi! Awesome video, it helps me a lot, I took the lasek surgery 10 days ago, and as you said, everything is blurry but clear at the same time by now. But I work with computers and I can't see them clearly, do you think I will have to wait a month? Oh God!! :D thanks
@@NachoValestrini, how long after surgery did you get 20/20 vision? I got my surgery 3 weeks ago and i have worse vision in my left eye than the right one.
@@GamingBenchmarks-hp8cu, hello man, you caught me online. Yes, after 3-4 months it stabilized and now, after 1 year my left eye is stronger than the right eye. I also managed to pass the tests for a police tactical unit, this being the main reason why I did the intervention

Hey, thanks for making this video. I was wondering whether your eyes are still so sensitive in the evening/at night or this has come back to "normal". Could you also, please, share your experience regarding the pain you went through in the first 4 days? I read it is pretty devastating and this scares me soooo much. Thanks for your answer
pikapoka17 So my eyes are pretty good now. I still have a little sensitivity to very bright light and now I cry all the time when I cut onions. I can see pretty well at night too. :)
Hey gina, thank you so much for this video, are your eyes at 0.00? Ive had lasek done 2 months ago, 1 eye sees 80% the the other one 120%, i just hope it will get better :S. Also, when reading alot, my eyes get tired and i see worse, have you also experienced this? Cheers
Eno lol dam I guess I will just have to be patient then. No rush . I am seeing better than before lasik but no where near 2020 vision . I will just wait it out and if worse comes to worse get a re touch or settle for glasses or contacts. I will see my doc every month or so for checkups until it fully heals
@@luiseduardo199 ye mate, patience is a virtue. How long ago did you have the operation? The first 3 months were kinda blurry for me. I am 1.5 years later now and finally achieved 20/20 vision, so just be patient. Good luck in your recovery!
Eno I appreciate you man. It’s been about 3 weeks maybe more . I’m seeing slightly blurry but I’m confident it will get better now that I read your post. Like maybe you become slightly more aware and more confident with your 2020 vision? I feel like sometimes I am a bit slow or just not quite there like the average person but I feel it’s mostly my shitty vision . I never wore glasses much but I know they make me slightly more agile if you will because I know we’re stuff is ahead of time and what not.

Hi Gina Bear, just curious, maybe I missed your previous video, but why did you choose Lasek over Lasik?
I chose LASEK because your eye completely heals afterward. With LASIK you have a flap and there is a chance it can come undone if you get in an accident, etc.
Thanks so much for checking in. My vision is absolutely perfect and I'm glad that I did it. I had a great experience with Glory Seoul Eye Clinic.

Hi, I'm looking to get my procedure this week. Other than price difference, why did you choose LASEK over LASIK? I'm trying to decide.
Hey, vwhat did you decide?
Hi. How's your vision at night? Any halos or starbursts, etc.?
Nope. My vision at night is just fine. I can see pretty well in the dark.
I just had LASEK a week ago. The first 2 nights are absolute TORTURE, but I'm already reaping the benefits, and my vision isn't even 100% yet.
Did you use proper sedatives or pain killers?
So there is very little to no pain at all?cuz I’m planning to get the surgery
There is some pain but it's not overwhelming.
Chaotic Replayzz there is absolutely minimum pain with lasIK and quick recovery but I had lasEK a few weeks ago and it was pretty painful the day after but after a day minimum pain and sight it getting better each day
Hiii..How many days after lasik i can start use my phone????
