Great video discussing good points about Ahri! One slight misconception about Ahri is 4:35 her charm and Q range are not the same. Charm is 1000 range and Q is 900 range! Funfact: Both charm and Q and proc Horizon focus because they're are both over its range threshold, as well as ulting a target will also activate it at near max range!
Eyy was wondering if u had seen this yet! Amazing streamer to follow if u wanna learn Ahri and play her well :) (super chill, entertaining, really knowledgeable and amazing outplays :)) Helped me so much and defs inspired me to keep playing her/do some pretty flashy outplays hehe :)
If you have to lane against yasuo it's a good idea to skip ludens and go Everfrost instead as it goes through his windwall. You will lose some damage but your pick potential is amazing. Against Syndra and many other match ups using your w is the key to winning trades. Casting it will give you move speed which will help you avoid spells. At the same time you can move forward and hit them with auto and q1 for an easy electrocute proc
I actually never understood why people consider Yasuo a hard matchup for Ahri. As an Ahri main myself I actually find Yasuo to be one of the easier matchups and am quite happy if the enemies pick him into me. I mean, I get that his windwall can be annoying, but there's a way to play around it, abusing the way Yasuos's E works, which basically gaurantees you a charm hit and thereby your entire follow up combo and burst. Yasuo likes dashing at you through minions. This dash is always a fixed distance. He cannot cast his Windwall during the dash, instead, the windwall gets buffered and casts after his dash is completed. The dash distance however is longer than the length of a minion, meaning, there's a small timeframe where yasuo will be past the minion and targetable, but still in his dash animation and therefore unable to cast windwall. If you throw your charm at where he will come out from his dash at around the same time he starts the dash, you will hit it 9/10 times. And it's easy to bait his dashes. If the charm hits, it cancels his windwall buffer, meaning the earliest he can cast it is once your charm ends, by which point you already unloaded all your burst on him. This might sound hard to do, but after doing/practicing it a few times, it'll become easy to do, same as flash E.
is nice to have some tips over some match ups, but it think the most annoying by far is zed, which is a real pain in the ass, you cant do anything until he wastes W and still he has ult so never a charm
He is perma-ban champ when i play ahri...zed or yone something For zed i Will advice you to folow his placements of shadow Also Zed W have big cd Q have around 6-8 seconds if i remember so keep in mind his Cd on abilitys to punish him as Much as possible
Vs Zed I usually save charm for his R or when he's cc'ed by something else and can't escape it. Throwing charm backwards when Zed ults makes it one of the easiest charms imho.
Zed was a quite easy matchup for me back when I was an Ahri main. I just play so safe that I don't even try a single charm until he blindly uses his ult on me. Then I use my charm to where he'll appear and an insta kill.
I feel like its a skill match up - u need to be able to dodge his abilities and abuse his cooldowns - watch lots of ahri vs zed vods - its always fun to play into cuz outplay potential on both sides hahaha (altho my csing dies but lets not talk about that).
@@malenicamultifaker6696 what i learned about zed is when ult his shadow will be placed where he is looking if he ults face to face the shadow will be behind you

@@minhchinhhoang7195 yeah W is no longer a farming tool, the only way you farm with it is if 2 of them hit the same minion. But it also does less damage on the same target. You only use it for the movement speed.

kassadin yes, The others are fine. Fizz can only 1 shot if he lands his ult. Ahris ult counters fizz ult. Galio is even and lb is favored for ahri. Charm her when she jumps. Dmg and jump negated.

I mean, charm is gonna proc horizon focus anyway, even at close range, since it's cc
Another fact: watching legitkorea videos is 100000% more helpful than this inaccurate video 👍🏻

the most important tip is to buy all her skins, chromas, etc.

I already have 5 skins with one chromas....its sooo beautifull to see chromas coven ahri

3:58 which is super useful when farming in lane
Proceed to miss 3 casters in a row lol

i think kassadin galio leb and fizz are kinda hard match up for ahri aswell
not really, lb and fizz are easy match, even galio

I always had trouble with Yasuo & Zed the most playing as Ahri.
Yasuo is pain but Zed is managable as soon as you get the hang of how to insta charm him after he ults.
Just use your w to poke him and to dodge tornado since you get ms, if you have trouble coordinating your mana, buy tear instead of doran ring
Keep in mind that the E actually goes slightly farther than the Q
Only tip you need with ahri: land your charm
5:28 um no, it will heal based on what ability hit first
yeah im trying to do this trick in practice its not working
Ahri doesnt have enough burst dmg so how can she be a burst mage ?xD
if every ahri u saw in your games was 2/5 i'm not surprised u dont know ahri can easy oneshot squishy target if player knows that they do ;)
